Good friends can look different than ourselves, and our other friends. When Owlivia, a barn owl tries to make friends with the burrowing owls they refuse because she looks different. A scary hawk flies to the burrow and threatens Chloe, a baby burrowing owl. Owlivia bravely chases him away while the other owls watch in horror. They thank Owlivia for her help. Pero en meditaci n mi alma me dec a que era el momento de escribir sobre ello, de darle a la gente la opci n de conocer un punto de vista distinto al que estaban acostumbrados a ver.He vivido muy de cerca el contacto con esta enfermedad, mi padre muri a los 64 a os de un c ncer de pulm n, mi suegro a los 62 tambi n de un c ncer de pulm n, la abuela de mi marido de un c ncer de intestino y en estos momentos mi hermano, menor que yo, padece un c ncer que parece que se divierte movi ndose por todo su cuerpo. Adem s soy terapeuta y tengo muchos clientes que lo padecen o lo han padecido y algunos por desgracia ya no pueden contarlo.Y aqu estoy dispuesta a hablar sobre el tema y con la sensaci n de que me estoy metiendo en un lugar en el que hay mucho dolor y tambi n mucha esperanza.En el libro el c ncer va a tomar la palabra para dirigirse a las personas afectadas por l y va a entablar con ellas conversaciones que har n reflexionar a cuanta gente lea las siguientes l neas.
