For decades, LGBTQ travellers have congregated in predictable places: queer-friendly cities like New York and Berlin, or beach towns such as Mykonos and Fire Island. But as progress and visibility expand across the globe, so do queer people’s travel options. Drawing on their own extensive travel experiences, as well as the perspectives of local DJs, artists, activists, drag performers, DIY historians, and long-time residents (many of them found through the biggest advantage gay travellers have over their straight counterparts: ‘hookup’ apps like Grindr and Scruff), the authors of Sassy Planet offer up the latest on what’s hot in 40 cities around the world. Traveling in the US? Check out RuPaul’s Drag Race star Alaska’s recommendations for Pittsburgh, where she first got her start. Planning a trip to Japan? Read about the 300+ queer bars packed into Tokyo’s Shinjuku neighbourhood. Even in countries where homosexuality is sanctioned, you’ll read about emerging pockets of queer acceptance and culture. You’ll also find the very latest info on where to go in major destinations, from the Por Detroit parties in Mexico City to new Brooklyn hot spots. The book features interviews with local celebs, best-of lists, and little- known hideaways all packaged with helpful insights, cool bits of regional culture, queer lore—and of course, plenty of sass to spare.

Tuberculosis is termed as 'TUBERCLE' which means round nodule and 'OSIS' which means condition. Mycobacterium tuberculosis in human and Mycobacterium bovis in animals are the organisms which cause tuberculosis. Mycobacterium tuberculosis is small, aerobic, nonmotile bacillus. The other causative organisms are Mycobacterium africanum and Mycobacterium microti. The non-mycobacterium genuses are Mycobacterium leprae, Mycobacterium avium, Mycobacterium asiaticum. The M. Tuberculosis complex consists of M. africanum, M. bovis, M. canetti, and M. microti. The estimated prevalent cases in 2012 were around 12 million, corresponding to 169 cases per one lakh population. TB prevalence is declining from the early 1990's (before incidence started to decline). This is largely due to the introduction of DOTS strategy, which may have contributed to the reduction of chronic and cases which are untreated and duration of illness. Most important risk factor globally is HIV; 13% of people with TB are infected by the virus. Chronic lung disease is one of the risk factors. Silicosis increases the risk about 30-folds. Cigarette smokers have nearly twice the risk of TB compared to nonsmokers.

However, library is a perfect place to indulge in the pleasure of reading and for researching. Now a days, librarians provide complete assistance and guidance with researching and navigating information. Another challenge to library professionals is keeping themselves up to date in terms of technology skills to work in the online environment effectively and efficiently. Though the communication and interpersonal skills required are same for both traditional and online forms of reference service, the absence of physical presence of the library user and different new modes of communication demand for additional and new set of skills, effort of training to offer quality services. Working librarians at reference desk can take advantage of the experiences of researchers and practitioner reported in the published literature to develop a model online reference desk that suits to their clientele and environment.

Protected cultivation is modification of natural environment to achieve optimum plant growth. Due to controlled environmental conditions, it gives manifolds increase in yield per unit area. The protected cultivation has shown high productivity, better quality produce, and early maturity and round the year cultivation in a hostile environment. Though the crops are grown under protected conditions, yet the crops are not protected because of intensive cultivation of crops, optimum use of fertilizers and frequent use of irrigation with high day temperature and relative humidity. These types of ideal conditions under polyhouses increase problem of soil borne pests and diseases including plant parasitic nematodes. Root-knot nematode is a major problem in each cropping system which attack almost all types of crops. Keeping this points in mind, the present study was conducted to find out the "Incidence and host parasite relationship of root- knot nematode, Meloidogyne incognita (Kofoid and White) Chitwood in horticultural crops under protected cultivation".
