El cap tulo "El hombre profesional" narra las distintas etapas de su vida profesional, incluyendo su nombramiento como Juez Correccional de la Secci n Quinta de La Habana. En 1950 es nombrado Juez Especial de la Causa 82 de 1949, instru da contra el expresidente Ram n Grau San Mart n y miembros de su gobierno por malversaci n de m s de 174 millones de pesos del erario p blico. La narraci n, basada en citas de la prensa de la poca, incluye el robo de los folios de la causa, y termina con el auto de procesamiento de Grau y varios de los miembros de su gabinete. Un hecho hist rico nunca visto en Cuba. El cap tulo "El hombre de familia", incluye detalles de toda sus actividades en el seno de su familia y su dedicaci n y amor por la misma. Finalmente el cap tulo "El exilio" incluye las tristes experiencias de abandonarlo todo, hasta la muerte de su querida esposa y m s tarde, en 1987 su muerte. El autor ha querido as dejar constancia para la posteridad de la personalidad de su padre, su rectitud y dedicaci n tanto a su profesi n como a su familia y el papel que le toc jugar en una de las causas criminales m s sonadas de su poca.
