Mister Robin and the Magical Discovery
Out one morning for a leisurely stroll, Mister Robin encounters little Camille, the tiny wood fairy princess. She is crying softly to herself. He soon discovers the reason for her distress. Her wings are too big and drag on the ground so she is unable to fly like the other fairies. As he is consoling her, they take a walk and come upon a very dreary part of the forest. As they pass through, a magical event takes place but neither Mister Robin or Camille saw this transformation. However, at the same time, Zooker, the forest miser was lurking in the bushes and saw this magic happen. He then plots to capture little Camille for himself and selfishly use her magic. As the forest becomes aware of Camille's disappearance everyone is thrown into a panic. Soon, it becomes obvious that her rescue has to fall to Mister Robin. He quickly enlists the help of other forest friends and they set out to find her. As he proceeds to save Camille he also unravels the mystery of her large wings, the magic surrounding her and how very important she is to the Evergreen Wood....

Reading Robin Hood

This book explores and explains stories about the mythic outlaw, who from the Middle Ages to the present day has stood up for the values of natural law and true justice. Analysing the whole sequence of Robin Hood adventures, it begins with the medieval tradition, including early poems and the long-surviving sung ballads, and goes on to look at two variant Robins: the Scottish version, here named Rabbie Hood, and gentrified Robin, the exiled Earl of Huntington, now partnered by Lady Marian. The nineteenth century re-imagined Robin as a modern figure – a lover of nature, Marian, England and the rights of the ordinary man. In novels and films he has developed into an international figure of freedom, while Marian’s role has grown in a modern feminist context. Even to this day, the Robin Hood myth continues to reproduce itself, constantly discovering new forms and new meanings.

This inspirational tale tells the story of a little robin and how his life changed when he stopped trying to be like the other birds and just accepted himself for who and what he was. Robins are known to sing beautiful tunes that fill the trees with enchanting music, but this little robin just didn't fit in until, one day, he learned that there are things more important than trying to be like others. The embedded message in the story will surely make the reader reflect on their own limitation and why, like the little robin, they, too, are special.
