A Season of Hope Is Coming For the past two years Belinda King, along with her two grown daughters and teenage son, has been struggling to keep the family greenhouse running. Despite disconcerting events that have threatened to put them out of business, they have survived two growing seasons. And now Belinda can focus on the two suitors vying for her attention. Herschel Fisher, a new acquaintance, makes her feel relaxed, and Monroe Esh, an admirer from her past, reminds her of her youth. But just when Belinda thinks she can choose between her suitors, life throws more trials her way. Her son, Henry, becomes bitter about the idea of her dating anyone, and attacks on the greenhouse start again. When can Belinda hope to experience the peace and love her weary heart longs for?
This inspirational tale tells the story of a little robin and how his life changed when he stopped trying to be like the other birds and just accepted himself for who and what he was. Robins are known to sing beautiful tunes that fill the trees with enchanting music, but this little robin just didn't fit in until, one day, he learned that there are things more important than trying to be like others. The embedded message in the story will surely make the reader reflect on their own limitation and why, like the little robin, they, too, are special.
Robby Robin liked music class. He loved to hear the young birds sing, and everyone seemed so happy when they were singing. Best of all, Mister Owl, the music teacher, was great. But one day Robby heard the mockingbirds whispering behind his back. They didn't like his voice and thought it sounded funny. So Robby stopped singing. Mister Owl didn't scold him. Instead, he told him something to think about. Find out what Robby decided to do.

A note to readers, This book would've initially been titled 'Letters to my Father', that is because these poems were written over 3 years of my life during my time in Northern Ireland, so they really are like letters, for they stem from a very intimate place with the Lord. Reading them over I find comfort remembering how very close I felt to the Lord in the moment of writing each poem and the overwhelming peace that followed. It is my deepest prayer that as you too read through this book you will experience streams of living waters flowing from your heart, you will deeply encounter the living God who loves you exceptionally, you will know grace through an experience of the cross and you will find great peace as you rest in the Love and strength of our eternal father, as you come to find that He is good, for He is.

Every Robin Sings... shares what was a surprise to the author - and largely why he wrote the book. Poetry is powerful - a tool - one of life's great game changers - while yet a far more powerful tool - private poetry - at our fingertips - often - is missed or dismissed. Passing through this all too brief adventure of consciousness - without a voice - verses - of our own - is one of the more serious forms of poverty. Interestingly - writing a poem is not about the poem - but the process of learning to live - poetically. To illustrate the process and power of our private written words - 23 of the author's once private poems make the case - sharing insights into poem creation, stories, and life altering impacts -and ranging in topics, styles, forms, and genres. Our astonishing futures begin as poems.
The anxiously awaited seventh book in the Robert H. and Tisza series is finally here. In the latest installment, you will meet Arlo, a K9 on loan from another county, a rich thief and his girlfriend, as well as their supporting characters. A tragedy occurs that will test love and faith, false accusations are made that cause our hero grief. All of this will lead Robert H. and Tisza to revisit the country of the wolves where they are involved in outdoor dramas. Mose and Junior are along for the adventure of course. Robert H. has trouble running down the rich thief and an encounter with a shotgun-wielding homeowner complicates things. The entire story moves to a somewhat unexpected ending which might put your own sense of right and wrong to the test.
