NEW PRINT WITH PROFESSIONAL TYPE-SET IN CONTRAST TO SCANNED PRINTS OFFERED BY OTHERS Bunny Brown And His Sister Sue In The Big Woods This book is a result of an effort made by us towards making a contribution to the preservation and repair of original classic literature. In an attempt to preserve, improve and recreate the original content, we have worked towards: 1. Type-setting & Reformatting: The complete work has been re-designed via professional layout, formatting and type-setting tools to re-create the same edition with rich typography, graphics, high quality images, and table elements, giving our readers the feel of holding a 'fresh and newly' reprinted and/or revised edition, as opposed to other scanned & printed (Optical Character Recognition - OCR) reproductions. 2. Correction of imperfections: As the work was re-created from the scratch, therefore, it was vetted to rectify certain conventional norms with regard to typographical mistakes, hyphenations, punctuations, blurred images, missing content/pages, and/or other related subject matters, upon our consideration. Every attempt was made to rectify the imperfections related to omitted constructs in the original edition via other references. However, a few of such imperfections which could not be rectified due to intentional\unintentional omission of content in the original edition, were inherited and preserved from the original work to maintain the authenticity and construct, relevant to the work. We believe that this work holds historical, cultural and/or intellectual importance in the literary works community, therefore despite the oddities, we accounted the work for print as a part of our continuing effort towards preservation of literary work and our contribution towards the development of the society as a whole, driven by our beliefs. Cominciando dallo studio delle radici dello Stato capitalista, l'autore ricorda gli scritti dei Fisiocrati, di Adam Smith e mette in luce l'importanza della Rivoluzione Francese.Analizza, in seguito, il passaggio dallo Stato liberale allo Stato keynesiano, seguendo l'evoluzione del capitalismo (capitalismo di concorrenza, capitalismo monopolista, capitalismo monopolista di Stato), e illustra l'impatto della Prima guerra mondiale, della Rivoluzione d'Ottobre e della Grande Depressione.Sconfitto il nazifascismo e messe da parte le 'soluzioni' corporative, i cambiamenti imposti dalla Seconda guerra mondiale condussero alla rivoluzione keynesiana e allo Stato sociale, che l'autore esamina da un punto di vista critico.Particolare attenzione viene rivolta alla controrivoluzione monetarista e alle politiche neoliberiste (Washington consensus) che l'hanno messa in pratica, traducendosi, per azione dello Stato regolatore e dello Stato garante, in politiche avverse ai lavoratori, che hanno aperto la strada a nuove forme di fascismo, la cui forza si manifesta negli Stati Uniti e nell'Unione Europea.L'ultimo capitolo prende in esame la rivoluzione scientifica e tecnologica per giungere alla conclusione che il capitalismo non la fine della Storia.

La fiducia gioca un ruolo fondamentale in tutti gli ambiti della vita. In un mondo sempre pi complesso e globalizzato, i media rappresentano per la maggior parte dei destinatari la fonte primaria di informazione su eventi che esulano dalla loro esperienza personale e dal loro orizzonte percettivo. Nel rapporto tra pubblico e media, tuttavia, la fiducia fondamentale, poich le conoscenze personali, le esperienze e le fonti non mediatiche non sono sufficienti o del tutto assenti per verificare il contenuto delle notizie. Il libro si occupa quindi del concetto di "fiducia nei media" e delle conseguenze che ne derivano per i destinatari. Attraverso un'analisi sistematica degli studi sul tema del libro, oltre alle diverse definizioni e alle diverse operationalizzazioni della fiducia nei media, vengono individuate quattro categorie relative alle conseguenze della fiducia nei media. Vengono cos identificati gli effetti sulla conoscenza e sul comportamento politico dei destinatari, le conseguenze sulla fiducia in altre istituzioni, gli effetti sulla percezione soggettiva del pubblico e l'influenza sull'uso dei media.
