Les cha nes lastom res sont des copolym res de polyur thane fr quemment utilis s dans les op rations d'orthodontie en raison de leur polyvalence. Elles sont efficaces, color es et confortables pour les patients. Depuis les ann es 1960, les cha nes lastom res sont utilis es dans les traitements orthodontiques pour la fermeture des espaces tendus, la correction de la ligne m diane, la fermeture des espaces d'extraction et le d placement des dents incluses. Andreasen et Bishara ont t les premiers d crire comment ces cha nes lastiques pouvaient tre utilis es pour fermer des espaces mineurs entre les dents.En raison de leurs qualit s visco lastiques, les cha nes lastom res sont sujettes une diminution de la force au fil du temps. Cette d gradation de la force est influenc e par plusieurs facteurs, notamment la temp rature de la cavit buccale, les fluctuations du pH, la pr sence de radicaux libres et l'utilisation de bains de bouche. Vegetable-producing operations are extremely labor intensive; throughout the activities, farm workers often adopt various postures such as bending, twisting, semi-bending, standing and sitting. which are directly associated with drudgery and occupational health problems. The present study was designed with the following objectives: to study the demographic and activity profile of farm workers engaged in a vegetable production system, postural analysis of farm workers involved in a vegetable production system, to identify the work-related health hazards experienced by the farmworkers during different types of work activity and to suggest the importance of correct postural techniques of doing work. The aim of integrating ergonomics with farm workers involved in the vegetable production system is to solve the issues and to increase worker productivity and efficiency.

There is little doubt that the prevalence of patients with underlying medical condition seeking orthodontic care has increased over the past two decades. A pilot study performed in 2002 of several orthodontic practices revealed that more than 25% of patients seeking orthodontic therapy had some medical diagnosis that potentially impacted their care. While the general dentistry literature addresses many of these diagnosis and their medical and dental management, there is a paucity of information in the orthodontic literature as to the impact of these conditions on orthodontic care.

Beauveria bassiana is an entomopathogenic fungus that causes white muscardine disease in a range of insects including whiteflies, aphids, thrips, grasshoppers and certain types of beetles. B. bassiana spores simply need to come in contact with a host. Once the host insect is infected, the fungus rapidly grows inside of the insect, feeding on the nutrients present in the host's body and producing toxins in the process. When the host dies, the B. bassiana covers the carcass in a layer of white mold that produces more infective spores. Naturally occurring in the soils of numerous regions globally. A major advantage to using Beauveria bassiana is the fact it can be used up until the day of harvest as the residue is not harmful to consumers.
