Die Verteilung der objektiven Beweislast im UN-Kaufrecht erfolgt nach dem sogenannten Regel-Ausnahme-Prinzip. Ausgehend von dieser Erkenntnis uberpruft die Arbeit am Beispiel der Gefahrtragungsregeln (Artt. 66 bis 70 CISG) Stichhaltigkeit und Praktikabilitat dieses Prinzips. Im ersten Teil der Arbeit klart der Autor zunachst notwendige Vorfragen. Im zweiten Teil zeigt er auf, wie sich aus Wortlaut und Struktur des Gesetzes die Verteilung der Beweislast zwischen Kaufer und Verkaufer bestimmen lasst. Vor allem aber ist Telesios Tragoedie, ihre Anlage und Konzeption, im Vergleich zu den antiken Dramen (Euripides, Sophokles, Naevius) besprochen. In einem eigenen Kapitel ist Danae in zeitgleicher bildlicher Rezeption zum Vergleich mit Telesios Drama herangezogen. Die Textedition folgt dem Erstdruck von 1529; weitere Ausgaben bis ins 18. Jahrhundert sind berucksichtigt. Neben Anmerkungen ist erstmals auch eine deutsche UEbersetzung beigegeben. Zusatzlich ausgewertet sind Bearbeitungen des Danae-Stoffes in der Literatur des 15.-20.
