The story of the akedah (the binding of Isaac described in Genesis 22) is perhaps one of the most ethically problematic stories in the biblical text. Very little attention, however, seems to be given to Sarah. In this thesis we will examine Sarah's role in relation to the events of the akedah and how it has changed over time. In order to do this, I will discuss three groups of literature: Rabbinic midrash, the Hebrew Crusade chronicles, and Yiddish religious materials from the pre-modern period.

So...once upon a time, a suburban housewife spent her nights as a mobster-murdering assassin, named JENNIFER BLOOD. Then she died...or did she? Because in the cozy cul-de-sacs of Bountiful, Utah, a noticeable number of normal people have gone missing. And by "normal," I mean "mobsters under witness protection." And by "missing," I mean killed by someone that looks, sounds, and murders a lot like JENNIFER BLOOD...
A brand-new arc! A mysterious woman staggers into a clinic for criminals and collapses from her injuries! * The crooked head surgeon is convinced that he has JENNIFER BLOOD sedated and under his control and plans to sell the most wanted woman in the world to the highest bidder! But another of his patients is a legendary hit man on his last legs with other plans for Blood--and the trauma ward starts to overflow when they team up!
Everybody’s favorite suburban wife, mother, and covert assassin — created by comics author extraordinaire GARTH ENNIS (The Boys, Battlefields, Preacher, The Punisher, Hitman) — returns for an all-new tale of extralegal killing and ruthless vigilantism! Following the grisly events of Bloodlines, the woman formerly known as Jessica Blute — a.k.a. Jen Fellows, a.k.a. Jennifer Blood — finds herself involved with a new class of criminals. This one-woman bane of organized crime is supposedly dead and buried, and that’s exactly what she wants the world to think. Now, however, a visit to her original penitentiary gravesite puts Blood in the crosshairs of a vicious prison gang — one that has no idea of what’s about to hit them!
