La separazione da Marian per Andrea ha il senso di un sortilegio e concomita con un viaggio ad Haiti, patria del woodoo e degli zombie. Haiti come un incubo che ritorna sempre anche in forme diverse fino alla fine, per svelare, solo allora, tutta la costruzione precedente.Nel frattempo Andrea tenta in ogni modo di sottrarsi a sortilegi e magie e a Marian fino alla ricerca della solitudine, in un viaggio anche introspettivo verso luoghi e paesi la cui descrizione oggettiva e particolareggiata abita accanto a una narrazione onirica e fantasmagorica."Woodoo" ha un andamento circolare (come gi in "Sei ore della vita di Giulio") dove fine e inizio continuamente si incontrano nell'evanescenza di una realt pi volte riproposta e ogni volta trascesa, mentre l'amore declinato nelle sue possibili distorsioni ingannevoli e ammaliatrici, o in travisamenti illusori, talora incantato e talvolta alienato. (la tripartizione in epilogo, episodi ed esodo ricalca la struttura che era tipica della tragedia in Grecia)

In the last two decades major reforms have been addressed to the broad Italian Public Sector, requiring the introduction of New Public Management-inspired ideas and tools, thus calling for further research in this field. The convergence of EU Countries towards the Euro deadline of December 31,2013 has also accelerated the managerial transformation process, as well as the consequent deployment in the Public Sector of techniques and practices widely adopted in the private sector. This refereed co-authored volume firstly introduces researchers, students and professionals into the characteristics of stakeholder and governance structures in public entities, and then guides them into different areas and issues of public sector organizations. Thus, the book seeks to provide a portrayal of the main challenges affecting different areas of Public Sector in Italy in a longitudinal manner. In tale quadro assume un valore preciso la ripubblicazione di un classico degli studi gramsciani come il libro di Massimo L. Salvadori (apparso nel 1970, e riedito con modifiche nel 1973), con una sua Prefazione autobiografica, un capitolo aggiunto rispetto all'ultima edizione e un saggio introduttivo di Angelo d'Orsi, che ripercorre la "fortuna" di Gramsci dopo la sua morte. Nel libro, la lettura del pensiero gramsciano, in chiave di valorizzazione del "consiliarismo" e della presa di distanza dal "socialismo reale", e anche una via per l'Autore per ragionare sulla democrazia in quanto tale, sui suoi limiti e le sue potenzialita.

The authors have split the volume into five parts, which respectively describe the theoretical basis of the book, the policies in question and indicators that influence them, the decision-support system that connects indicators to policies, the case study of Ancona, Italy, and potential future directions for this work.
