Die Aufklärung des autonomen Patienten stellt den Kern jeder medizinischen Behandlung dar. Da zahlreiche Konzepte, welche die Kommunikation mit dem Kranken im Rahmen der gebräuchlichen Aufklärung verbessern wollten, im Alltag keine nachhaltigen Auswirkungen zeigten, bedarf es grundsätzlicher Veränderungen hinsichtlich der Gesprächsintentionen und Strukturen der Kommunikation. Die im Buch behandelten ethischen Aspekte sollen dazu beitragen, eine Verbesserung der Intentionen zu erreichen. Der Autor plädiert für einen umfassenden, wertorientierten Aufklärungsprozess, der auch einen ethisch argumentierbaren Umgang mit den Patientenwünschen einschließt. Der vorliegende Band erortert grundlegende Aspekte der Theorie politischer Beteiligung, wie sie sich in den klassischen Werken von Locke, Smith und Rousseau und bei modernen US-amerikanischen Autoren finden. The study covers challenges facing the implementation of the Economic Partnership Agreements (EPAs) from the East African Community perspective. Employing primary and secondary tools of data collection as well as qualitative analysis the study revealed that implementation of the EPAs within the EAC suffers from among other factors poor negotiation capacity, failure to compensate revenue loss resulting from EPAs, poor participation of non-governmental actors, uneven economic pattern, overlapping membership in Regional Economic Communities (RECs), BREXIT shock, lack of political will, unconscionable Terms in the EPAs, differences in legal systems, poor institutional capacity and differences in Partner States trade policies. The study recommends for the EAC Partner States harmonisation of legal systems and trade policies, improvement of negotiation capacity, creation of supranational institutions, full deployment of people-centred principle, alignment of constitutions and renegotiation of the already existing EPAs such as the EAC-EU EPA.

Dabei wird die Parteikomponente der Politik nicht nur nicht kleiner, sondern im Gegenteil immer gr er. Zumindest in Russland. Die Staatsduma wird ausschlie lich durch Parteilisten gebildet, die Wahlen zu den regionalen und den meisten kommunalen Vertretungsk rperschaften beinhalten im Wahlsystem eine proportionale Komponente, die Partei, die die Regionalwahlen gewinnt, hat das Recht, dem Pr sidenten Kandidaten f r das Amt des F derationssubjekts vorzuschlagen. Als Hypothese stellt das Papier die folgende Annahme auf: Die moderne Rolle der Partei ist die Politisierung der Gesellschaft. Die Politisierung sozialer Beziehungen hat mindestens drei Dimensionen: eine Erh hung des Niveaus sozialer Erwartungen an die Politik; die Einbeziehung von Ph nomenen, die nicht politischer Natur sind, in die politische Agenda; die Beteiligung der B rger an politischer Aktivit t. Es stellt sich heraus, dass die politischen Parteien aktiv an diesen Prozessen beteiligt sind.

The Partial Revolution examines Kailali in the aftermath of Nepal’s Maoist insurgency, critically examining the ways in which revolutionary political mobilization changes social relations—often unexpectedly clashing with the movement’s ideological goals. Focusing primarily on the end of Kailali’s feudal system of bonded labor, Hoffmann explores the connection between politics, labor, and Mao’s legacy, documenting the impact of changing political contexts on labor relations among former debt-bonded laborers.
