Aaron Copland (1900-1990) is generally considered the most popular and well-known composer of American art music, and yet little scholarly attention has been paid to Copland since the 1950s. This volume begins with a portrait of the composer and an evaluation of significant research trends which is intended to fill a void and to suggest directions for further research. The guide also provides a section discussing Copland's interdisciplinary interests, such as ballet and film work, as well as a comprehensive bibliography of writings about Copland and his music.

""Aaron Lopez And Judah Touro: A Refugee And A Son Of A Refugee"" is a historical biography written by Morris Aaron Gutstein. The book tells the story of two Jewish immigrants who came to America in the 18th century and went on to become successful businessmen and philanthropists. Aaron Lopez was a Portuguese Jew who fled to America to escape the Inquisition and became a prominent merchant in Newport, Rhode Island. Judah Touro was the son of a Sephardic Jewish refugee from France and went on to become a wealthy real estate investor and philanthropist in New Orleans. The book explores their lives and accomplishments, including their contributions to the American Revolution and their efforts to support education and healthcare for their communities. Through their stories, Gutstein sheds light on the experiences of Jewish immigrants in early America and the contributions they made to the country's development. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations. Because we believe this work is culturally important, we have made it available as part of our commitment for protecting, preserving, and promoting the world's literature in affordable, high quality, modern editions, that are true to their original work.

Although very educational 'Aaron Apple and the Rain' is an interesting story book. It introduces science and nutrition through a fun tale (which makes learning easier). It is also useful in schools (covering topics such as water) and has illustrations on every page (for the reader who struggles). So if you are looking for a book that can teach you, whilst you have fun, then Journey with Aaron down to Kaiamaville and learn. Some meteorological concepts included plus the added bonus of learning about the nutitional benefits, one can get from apples. Children just love this book (so don't let them miss out).
Aaron Burr vs Thomas Jefferson: History Decides
In the quest to have an accurate record of history it is necessary to research and study our recent past. For the first time at Lulu, this book originally published in 1900 is the case for Aaron Burr as written by a very sympathetic biographer. Fortunately history shows that Burr was a scoundrel and a traitor (though he skated on being convicted). Mr. Jefferson had two very formidable opponents in his lifetime, Burr and Hamilton so this is the book to read to understand the genius that was Thomas Jefferson.
