Self doubt is the most defeating prophecy one can have. Even though I was a successful athlete and above average student, I didn't always feel like I was the best I could be. I lacked self confidence. Hence, I started taking medication that was supposed to help this, but in the long run it gave me more serious health issues to deal with. Years later, I have stopped taking the medication with a doctor's supervision. At this point, I have re-discovered who I am without the medication. Through years of journaling the good times and the bad, I have developed into someone who truly loves herself and believes in her own beauty and strength.
