Inter-organizational Cooperation with SAP Solutions - now in its second edition -describes the potential for cooperation in supply chain networks as well as the use of mySAP solutions in an inter-organizational context. The main focus is on applications from the fields of XML/EDI, data warehousing, supply chain management and electronic markets. On the basis of five case studies from the automotive industry, the use of mySAP solutions is demonstrated in practice. This second edition has been totally revised to take account of current challenges concerning building up cooperation from both the management and the software perspective. In order to achieve this, the author team was expanded.
Mit der vorliegenden Untersuchung hat das Institut fur Mobilitatsforschung ein Thema aufgegriffen, das sich in den vergangenen Jahren mit auBergewohnlicher Geschwindigkeit in unserer Gesellschaft ausgebreitet hat: die private Nutzung des Internet. Es ist nicht verwunderlich, dass die Meinungen der Experten immer noch stark dariiber auseinandergehen, wie tiefgreifend diese Technologie unser (Zusam- men-) Leben in der Zukunft verandern wird. Die einen sehen vor aHem die techni- schen Potenziale des Internets und erwarten tiefgreifende Auswirkungen auch auf den privaten Bereich. Andere glauben dagegen, dass die Bereitschaft des Einzelnen, groBe Teile seines Lebens und seiner zwischenmenschlichen Kommunikation mit Hilfe einer solchen Technik zu organisieren, begrenzt sein wird. Ankiindigungen iiber immer neue Anwendungsmoglichkeiten des Internets erweitern die Vielfalt und erschweren eine Vorschau zunehmend. moglicher Auswirkungen Eine Methode, urn Voraussagen iiber die kiinftige Verbreitung des Internets im privaten Bereich zu verbessern, ist die Befragung solcher Personen, die bereits heute dieses Medium intensiv nutzen, die sogenannten "early adopters". Auch wenn es gerade bei diesem Thema kaum moglich sein wird, festgestellte Trends in die Zukunft zu extrapolieren, war es dennoch unser Ziel, fundierten Input fiir die Diskussionen tiber die Zukunft des Internets zu generieren. It uses diagrammatic drawings to elaborate a broad and varied range of residential types and present them systematically. In the process, it examines variants under the categories of access, space (ground plan and open space), and morphology, supplemented by detailed typological descriptions and the elaboration of the special qualities of each individual type. More general essays draw connections between the housing types and twentieth-century reference projects. All of the projects are newly drawn to uniform standards; every project is presented with its ground plan drawn to a scale of 1:200. Site maps, sections, elevations, and photographs illuminate the urban setting, the building structure and design, and the spatial and functional qualities of each residential structure. For the 4th edition of Trauma Biomechanics all existing chapters referring to traffic and sports have been revised and updated. New scientific knowledge and changes in legal defaults (such as norms and standards of crash tests) have been integrated. Additionally one chapter has been added where biomechanical aspects of injuries affected by high energies are communicated in a new way. The mechanical basics for ballistics and explosions are described and the respective impacts on human bodies are discussed. The new edition with the additional chapter therefore is addressed to a broader audience than the previous one.
