On the day he was celebrating the first day of his honeymoon, "Michael McCarthy" was erased - every aspect of self-identity, gone in an instant. This book is an autobiographical narrative describing in detail one man's journey through the mind-shattering loss of the person we take for granted we are. The subsequent search for "reality" leads through every available spiritual path, from religions to consciousness raising disciplines of every culture. The author's search for "The Holy Why?" leads through the darkest depths of human suffering. It is a journey through the inner realms to the awakening process of the Soul. A clearly delineated and often poetic description of the equally bizarre worlds of experiential spirituality, and quantum physics. All of it interwoven with recent scientific breakthroughs in brain chemistry research that eventually lead to a true spiritual awakening - a return to conscious living. It has been called "...a lucid and comforting delineation of the things most people are still afraid to talk about." It is both entertaining and enlightening. A psychological and spiritual quest that goes far beyond simple belief. It fulfills the great promise of recent neuroscience research - both hemispheres of the brain get their "Ah, ha " moment. Heartbreaking, mind-blowing, and often funny, it is a clearly delineated journal of experiential spirituality What do you do when you have done everything "right," and the most absolutely "wrong" thing possible befalls you? Where can you go when you no longer have any concept of what "Right" or "Wrong" might actually be? What is it you should even seek in order to make sense of the senseless? In the nightmare of an idyllic life gone mad, where does one go? And how do we get there from here? An internationally honored spiritual visionary and artist, Nanette Crist, described her experience with the first chapters, thus: "I cried in his confusion and pain. And then laughed as he challenged - demanded - that God reveal Himself. And then, I saw God."
Oracle had, captured a FA18-E in flight saving the pilot and the aircraft from certain destruction. Salvaged two Subs and the crews in the North Sea. Removed uncountable tons of explosives from Vietnam and more. Their biggest challenge was coming for them, and they had no idea.. Call them Illuminati, Cartels, Deep State or The Backroom, The Dark Evil is all the same. Now the worst of the worst has focused on Oracle and its Technology. It will take it, they always have.......Quietly and without fanfare Oracle went about its business. Slowly the news spread, Oracle were the go to guys when you had a real problem to deal with. Norway, Vietnam, a Baron in Switzerland. Each had an issue, and the crew of Oracle were relentless. Each problem was resolved in a way that only Oracle's crew could achieve. Now the underworld had started to take notice. Call them by whatever name you like, Illuminati, Cartels, Deep State or Backroom. All evil and rotten to the core. Spies were dispatched, covert photos taken. When those means did not provide answers, the Backroom set plans into motion. First, they tried to bribe their way into Oracle, and failed. Unfazed, they tried to capture Kia the director and founder of Oracle, again they failed, badly. It was inevitable that a showdown was going to happen. When the Backroom could not win with underhanded covert operations, they sent an entire mercenary force to take the island. They sent ships full of men and guns. They sent a destroyer packed full and ready to fight. They even sent the last remaining pair SR71-A Blackbirds into the arena. This was one fight they were determined not to lose. It was time to teach Oracle a lesson it would never forget.

Whatever your opinion on Bitcoin and cryptocurrency's, and educated commenters have described them as everything from the future of money to an outright scam - it seems they are here to stay. Will it succeed in doing what many early adopters and evangelists claim it is destined to - replace government-controlled, centralised money with a decentralised alternative, controlled by nothing besides market forces? Cryptocurrency is the formation of such a system, and it premises itself on the idea that the public should hold the money of the public. Bitcoin is a digital, decentralised currency that relies on an international ledger checked by individuals known as miners, and it is, in simple terms, the modern equivalent of paper money. Except, while real paper money has ways to distinguish itself from fake money, Bitcoin does not, and that is why it is subjected to a network of international ledgers that ensure that no one is lying about the amount if bitcoin they own. This international system of ledgers is known as Blockchain, which is the regulatory system that ensures that Bitcoin remains credible. Bitcoin was technically created by Satoshi Nakamoto-- an individual who wrote a paper regarding the development of a cryptocurrency that does not require any financial intermediaries. Since then, the currency has vastly influenced the investment market and seeks to transform the entire system of exchange radically. It is predicted that the legitimisation of bitcoin as an investment in the future could make its demand sky-rocket, and some believe that its ability to hedge in future markets will increase the currency's attractivity to large-scale and institutionally backed investors, ensuring that there is a more comprehensive and coherent system to bitcoin trading. From December 4th to December 6th, Bitcoin's value increased by a staggering US$5000, entirely leaving investors and financial gurus alike dumbfounded by the sheer demand of the currency. Bitcoin is revolutionary because the double-spending problem can be solved without needing a third party. In computer science, the double-spending problem refers to the problem that digital money could be easily spent more than once. Consider the situation where digital money is merely a computer file, just like a digital document. A can send money to B in an email, but will still retain a copy of that file even after A has used it and hence spent it. Without an intermediate third-party that ensures that A does not have a copy of the money file A sent to B, the double-spending problem cannot be solved. Bitcoin solves this problem through Block Chain, which is an international system of ledgers that decentralise it to individual computers. The Bitcoin network continuously maintains this ledger, and it has a record of all transactions ever processed, allowing anyone with a Bitcoin software to verify the validity of a transaction. All transactions are broadcasted onto the ledger on each computer/software and are included in the Block Chain once they are successfully verified.
Enigmatic for many years, cosmic rays are now known to be not rays at all, but particles, the nuclei of atoms, raining down continually on the earth, where they can be detected throughout the atmosphere and sometimes even thousands of feet underground. This book tells the long-running detective story behind the discovery and study of cosmic rays, a story that stretches from the early days of subatomic particle physics in the 1890s to the frontiers of high-energy astrophysics today. Writing for the amateur scientist and the educated general reader, Michael Friedlander, a cosmic ray researcher, relates the history of cosmic ray science from its accidental discovery to its present status. He explains how cosmic rays are identified and how their energies are measured, then surveys current knowledge and theories of thin cosmic rain. The most thorough, up-to-date, and readable account of these intriguing phenomena, his book makes us party to the search into the nature, behavior, and origins of cosmic rays and into the sources of their enormous energy, sometimes hundreds of millions times greater than the energy achievable in the most powerful earthbound particle accelerators. As this search led unexpectedly to the discovery of new particles such as the muon, pion, kaon, and hyperon, and as it reveals scenes of awesome violence in the cosmos and offers clues about black holes, supernovas, neutron stars, quasars, and neutrinos, we see clearly why cosmic rays remain central to an astonishingly diverse range of research studies on scales infinitesimally small and large. Attractively illustrated, engagingly written, this is a fascinating inside look at a science at the center of our understanding of our universe.
This book explores the "Book of Acts" as a guidebook to help ministers develop their congregations.
