Il lavoro si basato sulla modulazione del nano ligando della base di Schiff usando composti farmacologicamente importanti (indolina-2,3-dione) e anilina. La complessione della base di Schiff preparata e (1,10 fenantrolina o TMEDA) come ligando misto con diversi ioni metallici di transtione stata effettuata. Questo nano ligando e i suoi nano complessi metallici binari e misti mostrano due nuove caratteristiche; (1) un efficace chelante di ioni metallici e (2) pu giocare un ruolo centrale come agente antimicrobico e anticancro.
