This magazine is about the beauty, the strength, the love, the happiness, the legacies of Africa and Africans, especially those in diaspora. It majors on telling and the retelling of Africa and Africans stories in the way that makes us see ourselves in better light, and for us to know that we are better than the stories that have been told about us.So, with this magazine, we hope to showcase the good sides of Africa and Africans, as well as helps to weaken the efforts of those that are giving Africa bad reputation. We want to express it in the best way we can, for us to understand and for people to know that the good sides of Africa by Africans are better than our bad sides. And more importantly, our intention is to encourage Africans to be proud of their continent, color and capabilities, and endeavor to invest back home, for Africa to be more attractive to foreigners and our diasporan born populace.

Morphometrisch-stereologische Verfahren haben seit Mitte der 60er Jahre mehr und mehr Anwendung gefunden bei der ultrastrukturellen Analyse biologisch-medizinischer Objek- teo Besonders der Schweizer Arbeitsgruppe urn WEIBEL kommt das Verdienst zu, aus der Minera10gie und Geologie bekannte Verfahren ftir diesen Bereich nutzbar gemacht zu haben (s. WEIBEL, 1969). Dabei werden Anzahl-, Oberflachen- und Volurnenbestirnmungen an Zellen und intrazellularen Strukturen verschiedener Orga- ne durchgeftihrt. Ziel dieser Verfahren sind reproduzierbare und objektivierbare Aussagen, die an Hand dieser drei MeB- groBen tiber die untersuchten Objekte gewonnen werden konnen. Ein bestimmter Funktionsstatus ist durch eine ganze Reihe von Parametern charakterisiert. So ist etwa eine "normale" Leber klinisch, biochemisch, makroskopisch und histologisch erfaBt. Ihre Organstruktur und Zellmorphe prasentiert sich auch im elektronenmikroskopischen Bild in einer bestimmten, dazu korrelierenden Weise: Ze11zuordnung, Zellkontakte, Interzellularraurn, ZellgroBe und -form sowie Anordnung, Gro- Be und Anzahl von Zellorganellen spiegeln - mit einer gewis- sen Schwankungsbreite - den Funktionszustand "Normalitat" wider. In analoger Weise sind funktionelle Alterationen oft mit Veranderungen des elektronenmikroskopischen Erschei- nungsbildes vergesellschaftet. Eine Reihe von Noxen ftihrt z.B. bei Einwirkung auf die Leber zu typischen Scnadigungs- mustern: Veranderungen am glatten und rauhwandigen endoplas- matischen Retikulurn, vermehrte lysosomale Inklusionen, Mito- chondrienlasionen, Vermehrung von Microbodies und Fettein- schltissen usw.

Buffalo being one of the most important domestic animals, not only provides milk but is also used as draft animal. Buffalo holds the greatest promise for food security and sustainable development in the 21st century, as these animals form an integral part of the typical farming system. In India buffalo happens to be the back bone of the rural economy across most of the states in our country, with few exceptions, here and there. It is the mainstay in the production of butter and ghee. Not only this, buffalo is also considered more useful for account of higher fat content in its milk, apart from its ability of utilize agricultural by-products more efficiently. Basically, milk production and productivity depends on four dimensions of animal husbandry practices i.e. breeding, feeding, health-care and management practices. However, health-care, particularly the productive and reproductive efficiency of dairy animals is the backbone of dairy farming.Although, the state of MP is the leader in the milk production in the country, the milk yield per animal is very low.
