Middle east, is a mysterious world for many Europeans, when Middle east is mentioned all thoughts tend to think that it is a primitive world, there are no female human rights, full of wars and extremism, there is no one knows the real people there and how they live. There are many educated people there who follow the world news and their young males and females love and befriend each other like in Europe, but in hidden ways, because of the Islamic culture and rules, lives always find a way, the sex instinct exists everywhere and the young males there try to satisfy it with the opportunities available to them regardless of all the difficult conditions that their governments create like wars and economical crisis, still life goes on. The period which I will speak about is between (1961 - 1993) where there were no modern technology like the Internet, YouTube, twitter or mobile phones, only simple ways of communications like typical landline phones and writing letters and through that people get introduced and talk to each other and use TVs to follow the world news. The story shows a view on the bloody Iraq-Iran war which lasted for eight years and claimed one million lives and a view on the first gulf war, it is the story of a man who was born in a country full of violent political events and cut his way in life by leaving his native country in Iraq to Jordan then to Yemen and finally to settle in a foreign country to him England searching for safety and peace.

I am not someone who watches a lot of TV serials. But one serial that I really enjoyed watching was "Sex and the City." Whenever I saw an episode of that show, the thought of writing columns used to come to my mind. Look at Carrie Bradshaw. She was writing columns on issues which were really simple yet interesting. So I thought why don't I also start writing. That's how it all got started, in 2010. I have been writing short essays since then based on my thoughts, feelings, experiences, and travels; and I wrote more than 50 such essays. For this book, I chose 18 of those essays which I believe the readers might enjoy. The essays cover a wide range of topics, including a few of my travel experiences in some of the most exquisite places in this part of the world. I tried to be as candid as possible in my observations and thoughts, my views are unbiased and all my opinions are honest. I tried to avoid controversial issues to the extent possible as sometimes it may hurt the feelings of others. If there is anything in these writings that may hurt someone's feelings, it is purely unintentional. Everything mentioned in this book is based on real life and it is a non-fiction in its entirety. Hope the readers will enjoy reading the essays as much as I enjoyed writing them.

In sparkling, clear prose, understated yet unflinching, Open Season probes deep into the fissures of caste, class, religion, and gender in our world. Located mostly in India and Canada, the stories describe a world of global flows where a woman returns to India after her two daughters are killed in a school shooting in the US; in the title story a Muslim young man is lynched in an Indian town on the false charges that his fridge contains beef; "Light as a Butterfly" draws our attention to the ongoing degradation of the environment; in "All Cut Up," set in a suburb of Toronto, seven-year-old Zoya is heroically protected by her mother Zarina from her community's demand that she be circumcised. The stories speak of a world familiar and yet all too elusive, of a gentler, mellower, more hopeful time; they explore the charms and constraints of life in a small town and question assumptions and beliefs and dreams.

Very often, people believe that wellness is the same as health. This is not really the case. Health is a state of physical, mental, and social well-being. It involves more than just the absence of disease. A truly healthy person not only feels good physically but also has a realistic outlook on life and gets along well with other people. Good health enables people to enjoy life and have the opportunity to achieve the goals they have set for themselves. This is called wellness. This compilation is a collection of some of the best articles from different sources. It is intended to be used as a reference book to improve the quality of health.
Neoliberalism and Resistance in South Africa

This book critically examines the persistence of market orthodoxy in post-apartheid South Africa and the civil society resistance such policies have generated over a twenty-five-year period. Each chapter unpacks the key political coalitions and economic dynamics, domestic as well as global, that have sustained neoliberalism in the country since the transition to liberal democracy in 1994. Chapter 1 analyzes the political economy of segregation and apartheid, as well as the factors that drove the democratic reform and the African National Congress’ (ANC) subsequent abandonment of redistribution in favor of neoliberal policies. Further chapters explore the causes and consequences of South Africa’s integration into the global financial markets, the limitations of the post-apartheid social welfare program, the massive labour strikes and protests that have erupted throughout the country, and the role of the IMF and World Bank in policymaking. The final chapters also examine the political and economic barriers thwarting the emergence of a viable post-apartheid developmental state, the implications of monopoly capital and foreign investment for democracy and development, and the phenomenon of state capture during the Jacob Zuma Presidency.

This book is intended to dispel the notion that collective phenomena are an obscure and inaccessible topic. Having become increasingly important in modern storage rings, collective e?ects deserve to become part of the general education in accelerator physics. ItriedtowritethebookIwaslookingforwhenIstartedtostudycollective instabilities: an introduction that can be read from cover to cover with m- erate e?ort and familiarizes the reader with the basic concepts. Self-contained appendices contain what I considered worth discussing but might impair the readability of the main text, such as a reminder of basic relations and some background information on selected topics. Finally, an extensive list of r- erences was compiled (with some emphasis on accessibility of the source) in order to facilitate the search for more detailed information. A previous version of the present text was submitted in German language as Habilitationsschrift – a postdoctoral thesis, which is a peculiarity of the German academic system – to the Humboldt University of Berlin. It grew from my occupation with collective phenomena over ten years at the thi- generation synchrotron light source BESSY II. This has some consequences regarding the character of this text: • Thereisaclearemphasisonsynchrotronlightsourcesandelectronstorage rings. However, many concepts (wake ?eld, impedance, beam spectrum, beam lifetime, etc.) are quite general. • The selection of material re?ects my personal experience and some readers may want to skip over details that I considered important, while others may ?nd that their favorite topic was not covered in su?cient detail.
