Little Black Book: of Dark Poems

Little Black Book: of Dark Poems

As a Channeler and Intuitive, I have come to understand that writing for me, is a spiritual process, one that I am oftentimes, a host, which spirits have communicated through. My first three entries in a Little Black Book of Dark Poems captures the essences of Poe, Van Gogh, and Marilyn Monroe, each of whom woke me at 3 am to pour out their fears, in a gush of emotion. This book also illuminates the early mindset of a child who endured abandonment and abuse. Going deep into my soul, as a teenager, I found a way to cope: Creativity... It is the best natural healer. I hope you, the reader, will find my dark poetry enlightening and beneficial as a literary example of how when we embrace both the darkness and the light within ourselves we are able to find our own hidden treasures.

Parents know that the way to help their children overcome their fears is to give them the facts they need to understand what's frightening them. Children know sometimes it's fun to be scared! This title looks at all the big storms created by Mother Nature run amuk. From lightning and thunder to monsoons, hurricanes, and tornadoes - there are facts, yes, but what really comes out is the force and power of the world we live in. There are superlatives, jokes, and best of all, the incredible photographs available only from National Geographic. The cover also makes use of the NG Kids logo, matching the logo used on "NG Kids" magazine with a subscriber base of 1.3 million.
