Though it be a bit scattered to most readers, God pushed me to cover a lot of ground in this little book. Everything I write is based on some personal experience or difficulty that me or my loved ones have faced. From my perspective, just about every topic I cover is offensive or distasteful or taboo in the minds of most people - Christian or not. Yet nothing in these pages is outside the bounds of God's Word and His will as best I can tell from my readers and my conscience. I speak very candidly, very openly, very genuinely to each of many very provocative subjects. I lunge into areas where most would never go in a tone that most would never take. Yet as I say in the book, am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ. - Galatians 1:10 ESV. At this point after writing and reviewing the book for a couple of years, and at this point in my life as a husband, a father, a church member, and a Christ follower, I am simply and humbly the messenger. I have no agenda of my own that has not passed through His hands with much prayer and deliberation and counsel. I know and understand that the success or failure of this little project, in terms of its effectiveness, rests totally in the hands of Him anyway - why should I endeavor to do anything but His will with it? For most who dare to delve into the pages of this venture, you will no doubt be offended, or perhaps feel insulted, as you contemplate the validity, sincerity and purpose of a mere man who takes you on a very radical journey. The only possible pretense for most of you will be answering the question, did this man really hear from the one true God or is he simply a fraud. Feuerbach.' Part one of this revolutionary study relates in detail the political history through which these manuscripts were editorially fabricated into editions and translations, so that they could represent an important exposition of Marx's 'theory of history.' Part two presents a wholly-original view of the so-called 'Feuerbach' manuscripts in a page-by-page English-language rendition of these discontinuous fragments. By including the hitherto devalued corrections that each author made in draft, the new text invites the reader into a unique laboratory for their collaborative work. An 'Analytical Introduction' shows how Marx's and Engels's thinking developed in duologue as they altered individual words and phrases on these 'left-over' polemical pages.
