Dopo il primo volume riservato agli abstract, questo secondo volume porta i contributi dei relatori che hanno avuto il tempo di partecipare al meeting, ascoltare gli altri e produrre un lavoro piu riflettuto. Alcuni hanno scelto di parlare della carta di Ottawa ripercorrendo il tempo trascorso, mentre altri hanno proiettato i concetti della Carta verso il futuro. Il volume inizia con un esteso articolo sull'entomia che e stata l'argomento di lavoro del workshop pre-meeting tenuto da Mario Betti e dalla sua "compagnia." E un lavoro unico, assolutamente originale, perche possiamo affermare con orgoglio che di entomia in ambito scientifico si e iniziato a parlare nella SIPS. I contributi relativi ai vari interventi del meeting vero e proprio ci permettono di fare il punto della situazione su come e stata sino ad oggi vista la Carta e come ha generato risultati ma ci proiettano anche verso il futuro.
