Lördagen den 28 maj 1363, Pingstafton. Den kungliga eskadern är under seglats från Tönsberg till Köpenhamn. Ombord befinner sig kung Magnus och drottning Blanche. De är på väg till det danska hovet för att övervara bröllopet mellan sin son Haakon och den danska prinsessan Margrete. På vägen stannar de på Lindholmens slott där de en gång firade sin smekmånad. Samtidigt söker en munk skydd för natten i lä bakom sanddynerna. Han är på väg till Lindholmen för att varna kungen om en nära förestående attack. Han vet inte var eller när, bara att det rör sig om en skoningslös fiende. Men kungen tror honom inte. BLANCHE 1363 är berättelsen om 1300-talets stora skandal här uppe i Norden: att både kungen och drottningen hade en älskare. Och att det var samme man. Handlingen kretsar kring den nordiska drottningen Blanche de Namur och några dramatiska veckor på försommaren 1363. I det moraliska kaos som råder efter pestens härjningar finner Blanche äntligen sin egen väg och försoning. I ett menage á trois lever hon ut sin kärlek och låter sinnena styra. Utan att ana de ödesdigra konsekvenserna. En lika passionerad som dödsdömd kärleksaffär går mot sin undergång. Berättelsen är baserad på verkliga personer och händelser. 2018 blev musikalversionen av BLANCHE 1363 vald till årets musikal av Musikalplattform. 2019 blev ledmotivet Blanche Prolog nominerad vid Independent Music Award i New York.
