Participation to cancer screening can be affected by several socio-economic, cultural, and organizational variables: literature data show that a lower adherence is a prerogative of the most disadvantaged population groups for socio-economic status and level of education. The objective of this work is to examine the participation of the foreign resident population of Prato to cervical cancer screening. The picture that emerges from the analysis confirms the lack of participation to cancer screening of the foreign resident population, in agreement with what has been observed in other countries. It becomes imperative, therefore, to deepen the perception of the concepts of "prevention-health-disease-care" and their relationship, to know the concerns and fears about the possible risks and the most appropriate responses, as well as to improve the reception of health caregivers to the migrant population, while recognizing that other priorities (home, work, family, etc.) weigh heavily on health and "prevention" choices of this population group.

Robot interaction control is one of the most challenging targets for industrial robotics. While it would provide the robotic systems with a high degree of autonomy, its effectiveness is limited by the complexity of this problem and by the necessity of special sensors (six-dof force sensors). On the other hand, the control methodologies to be adopted for addressing this problem can be considered mature and well-assessed. All the known interaction control strategies (e.g. impedance, direct force control) are tackled and reshuffled in a geometrically consistent way for simplification of the task specification and enhancement of the execution performance. This book represents the first step towards the application of theoretical results at an industrial level; in fact each proposed control algorithm is experimentally tested here on an industrial robotic setup.

Die Ubersiedlung deutscher Einwanderer ab 1824 aus dem ganzen deutschsprachigen Raum in Europa, uberwiegend aber aus dem Hunsruck, nach Brasilien liess die verschiedensten deutschen Dialekte in der neuen Heimat zusammentreffen, was zu einer Koine dieser Varietaten fuhrte, die als "Hunsruckisch" bezeichnet wird. Durch Kontakt mit der offiziellen Landessprache, dem Portugiesischen, entstand im Laufe der Zeit ein eigenartiges Sprachgemisch, das hier "Brasildeutsch" genannt wird. Die linguistische Analyse und Beschreibung des "Hunsruckischen" und des "Brasildeutschen" und des Gebrauchs dieser Varietaten in den taglichen Lebenssituationen der Bewohner einer kleinen bauerlichen Sprachgemeinschaft im Messoes-Gebiet im Staat Rio Grande do Sul, Brasilien, bilden den Rahmen dieser soziolinguistischen Untersuchung."

Die Metonymie im Deutschen ist bislang sowohl auf theoretischer wie auch auf empirischer Ebene vernachl ssigt worden. Bei dieser Forschungsl cke setzt das Buch an und befasst sich mit dem deutschsprachigen Migrationsdiskurs. Die Arbeit ist interdisziplin r ausgerichtet und verbindet kognitionstheoretische Ans tze mit einer qualitativen und quantitativen Korpusanalyse von knapp 300 Artikeln aus Bild.de und Spiegel Online. Metonymien sind im Migrationsdiskurs allgegenw rtig, operieren oftmals unbemerkt in ihrer Interaktion mit diskriminierenden metaphorischen Mappings und erscheinen somit im Rahmen von Persuasionsstrategien als besonders effizient. Die Arbeit verfolgt zwei Ziele. Zum einen sollen die sprachspezifischen Realisierungsarten der Metonymie im Deutschen dargelegt werden, dies mit Schwerpunkt auf Konversionsvorg ngen und Komposita. Zum anderen soll untersucht werden, wie metonymische Ph nomene wesentlich dazu beitragen, stereotype und antimigrantische Vorstellungen zu vermitteln.

Se describen los aspectos termo energ tico, medioambiental y los ndices de funcionamiento de una sauna solar con efecto invernadero concebida, dise ada y evaluada en Cuba, y de algunas variantes constructivas de la misma con perspectivas de desarrollo futuro. Se eval a la importancia para la comunidad de estas soluciones partiendo de los resultados de la experiencia cubana. Pueden ser utilizadas para el mejoramiento de la calidad de vida de la poblaci n, para el aumento de la autoestima y servir como complemento al tratamiento de diversas patolog as. La econom a, sencillez y potencial de ahorro de energ a y de disminuci n de emisiones de CO2 por el uso de este equipo lo hacen ideal para el desarrollo comunitario y tur stico principalmente de zonas tropicales y subtropicales con un grado de insolaci n promedio, donde tiene diversos posibles impactos que aqu son analizados. Los materiales utilizados en la sauna pueden ser baratos y est n disponibles en las reas referidas. Las variantes de sauna son analizadas con una concepci n amplia que incluye diversidad de climas y escenarios econ micos.
