It is vividly illustrated and covers a little boy who enjoys kicking his pillows at home, down the street, in the grocery store and even at the zoo. The inspiration for the story has an interesting twist. The author is a podiatrist-foot surgeon who was inspired by his own children who were notorious pillow kickers. They often used their pillows for play leaving them on the floor and stepping all over them. We all know how children get into things that seem fun, but may not always be best, and there are things they may be exposed to that parents can teach them about in a caring way.
