The Lewes House Collection of Ancient Gems [now at the Museum of Fine Arts Boston] by J.D. Beazley Student of Christ Church 1920
'Beazley treated the gems, rings and cameos listed in this volume as monuments deserving as much attention in description of detail, even to the forms of letters in inscriptions, as any other work of art'. First published in 1920, and now re-published here, this volume reproduces Beazley's dscriptions and commentary on the Lewes House Collection of intaglios and cameos sold to the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston from the collection of Edward Perry Warren. The collection includes objects of Cretan, Mycenaean, Phoenician, Greek, Hellenistic, Etruscan, Roman and Renaissance origins all of which are illustrated with enlarged black and white photographs. Also includes updated references and many of Beazley's original margin notes.
Diagnosis and Peer Review In Jails and Prisons Your 43rd Psychiatric Consultation William R. Yee M.D., J.D. Copyright Applied for Nov. 23, 2023
Diagnosis and Peer Review in mental health is uncertain and difficult because the diagnostic manuals are not based upon science. Politics and money have involved a variety of stakeholders other than the patient who needs treatments and cures. Integrity is sometthing that is hard to preserve in the face of corporate politics and the pressure to build and maintain revenue streams. The electronic medical record serves billing and issues other than patient care. The electronic medical record and billing issues cause errors and burnout among health care providers.

I have been attempting to provide quality patient care while complying with policies, procedures, and practices as a medical student, general practitioner, emergency room physician, and psychiatrist since 1970 This book distills my lifetime experience as, a child, adolescent, and adult. Context: my first memories are living on a subsistence farm with my grandmother, uncle, and two youngest aunts in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in 1952 and 1953. After that I lived in the Shady Lane Trailer Park by 9 Mile Road and Ryan in Warren, Michigan from 1955 to 1958. My best friends were Southern Baptists from West Virginia and Alabama. I then lived in East Detroit, Michigan from 1958 to 1972 while attending Michigan State University, Wayne State University, and Wayne State University School of Medicine. I completed psychiatric residency training at Lafayette Clinic and Northville State Hospital from 1972 to 1975. I attended Wayne State University Law School in 1979 to 1983 in the night school part time program. I was Board Certified in Psychiatry in 1977 and licensed to practice law in Michigan in 1983. I have practiced general medicine, emergency room medicine, psychiatry in Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, California, and Texas without interruption since 1972. I have worked in Regional Medical Centers, State Psychiatric Hospitals, Forensic Psychiatric Hospitals, private practice, multispecialty clinics, and prisons. I have been an expert witness in psychiatry in probate court, state and federal courts, in civil and criminal trials. I have been traveling the country as a contract psychiatrist with over 20 assignments since 2008. I am here to do no harm and to help if I can. Be kind and you can be my friend. William R. Elements of Mental Illness Mental Health Has Many Versions Your 12th Psychiatric Consultation. William Yee M.D., J.D. Copyright Applied for
This book is an introduction to the diagnosis and treatment of mental illness for the patient. The purpose of this book is to give the patient the tools to take full advantage of psychiatric diagnosis and treatment. The most important fact that the patient needs to understand is that the patient is in charge of the treatment. What the patient does has more to do with the success of the treatment than what the doctor does or what the medication does. The patient should know more about his treatment and his medications than the doctor. The doctor knows more about medicine and the practice of medicine than the patient. However, the patient need only study his mental illness and his medications while the doctor has to study all medications and all mental illnesses as well as the medical illnesses that patients bring into the doctor's office. I am here to do no harm, and to help if I can. William R. Yee M.D., J.D. Practicing general medicine, emergency room medicine, and psychiatry since 1972 in Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, California and Texas without interruption. Be kind and you can be my friend.
