Den 23 augusti 1973, låg den svenske kungen Gustaf VI Adolf för döden på Helsingborgs lasarett. Samma dag steg Janne Olsson in på Kreditbanken på Norrmalmstorg i Stockholm och tog fyra banktjänstemän som gisslan. Norrmalmstorgsdramat var ett faktum och skulle vara i fem dygn. Som ett resultat av dramat myntades den psykologiska termen Stockholmssyndromet. Efter Norrmalmstorgsdramat bestämde sig Janne redan i häktet att lämna den kriminella banan, vilket han också gjorde efter att ha avtjänat ett tioårigt fängelsestraff. Genom åren, både i och utanför fängelserna, har Janne skrivit ner tänkta kriminella episoder. Dessa kommer att ges ut i en bokserie vars första del är: Seth Legionären, där vi får läsa om hur det kan vara inom Främlingslegionen. Huvudpersonen är Seth Thomson som förlorar hela sin familj då deras segelbåt anfalls av pirater. Den tonårige Seth svär att en dag återvända för att hämnas. Han återvänder hem och försöker bygga upp vardagen igen. Han börjar träna extrem fullkontakt karate och uppnår svart bälte. Sedan tar han värvning i Främlingslegionen vilket får dramatiska konsekvenser.

Chester Seth Husted was 24 years old when he was killed in action while fighting with the U.S. Marines in France, a little more than a month before World War ended. The son of Wallace and Emma Sutherland Husted, Chester was born in Rialto, California, on March 21, 1894. He spent his early childhood in Highland, California, and moved with his family first to San Fernando and then to Corona in about 1908. This account traces Chester's time in the Marines, from his enlistment to his death, based on letters he sent home and which his mother preserved, and on letters she and others wrote him but which he did not receive before his death and were returned. The letters here are reproduced verbatim, except for some editing for clarity purposes, and I hope will serve as a time capsule of World War I and life in Corona, California. In "Judge Seth Code", Seth's mother, Ada Code, is committed to a psychiatric hospital. She is administered to by a nun who shares the Good News of Jesus Christ with her. She is then healed by the benefits of knowing Christ and having exposure to God's word. Ada shares this with her son while he is still young and though Seth denies God and hurts many people throughout his career as a Judge, he is able to change his ways because of the seeds of that had been planted in him by way of his mother. There are no coincidences in the short story, "God's Knitting Needles" as Sarah knits and God makes her knitting beautiful by connecting her with an older Congressman where she is a Congresswoman. In "The Black Triangles" God connects Nivena with Latonya through prayer. While Latonya prays for God to help her out of her dire kidnapping situation, Nivena is led by God to escape her own incarceration to help Latonya. God then uses many other people to help carry out His will. This is a story about the power of prayer.
