It was the power of prayer that pulled me through some very difficult moments in my life and I believe it can do the same for you. Through PRAYER for TODAY, I am hoping to give some encouragement and support whilst going through your most difficult and disappointing moments. I am hoping to share the love of God with you, to pray with you and show you how you can speak powerful scriptures that can bring life transforming change into your own life. Like the Apostle Peter said, Silver and Gold have I none, but what I have give I thee... Over the years, I have witnessed a lot of people suffer through depression, disappointments, constant feelings of worthlessness, hopelessness, and despair and have not been able to find the support or help they needed. This is the motivation for writing this book and I hope you are encouraged and blessed by what you read. Initially, I would just get on the phone and encourage people, but these were only people known to me like friends and family, and then I started writing blogs of encouragement and prayers to uplift more people, as I felt I could reach a wider audience on the Internet. I have received lots of emails over the years from my blog readers asking for more, as people felt encouraged and blessed by what they had read. Reading and confession of scriptural prayers is a very effective tool of warfare and is what brought me out of darkness into the light that I have come to experience today. There is power in prayer and confession of the Word of God It worked for me, pulled me out of the dark pit of hopelessness and despair and gave me the strength to face each new day. It gave me hope where once I didn't know where to turn, it brought healing into my life. I know it will work for you too. You are the apple of God's eye and the treasure in His heart. You can use PRAYER for TODAY as a devotional or buy it as a gift for a loved one or for anyone you think would need some encouragement and prayers. God bless you.
