In the middle of a chaos and unpredicted world, we all need a safe place to dwell in and rest. You may be worrying of the future, health, diseases and the list goes on.You may be feeling lonely, lost, ashamed, worthless and the list goes on also.You may be struggling with addictions of any type, secret sins, hurts, unforgivingness and still the list goes on.If so then I want to encourage you to run into the true city of refuge: Jesus where you can find real security, rest and above all meet the one person who loves you most in the whole world just as you are.The idea of having some cities designated to be 'cities of refuge' was a new concept to the people of Israel. They had never heard about it before and such concept was not to be found in any of the neighboring countries. It was a totally new idea to be added to the set of new things they were experiencing.This book's aim is to focus on such cities in a deeper way and relate them to our daily lives but first let us take some steps back so as to fully grasp the whole concept that God was trying to introduce to the people of Israel here.
