A collection of personal letters from Thomas Berry to his wife Estelle. Thomas served in the 89th Illinois Infantry and carried on an extensive correspondence with his wife from enlistment to his death. His letters are a trove of detailed information pertaining to his military experience and also his relation with his wife and children.
