L'h patite est une inflammation du foie. L'affection peut tre spontan ment r solutive ou voluer vers une fibrose (cicatrisation), une cirrhose ou un cancer du foie. Les virus de l'h patite sont la cause la plus fr quente de l'h patite dans le monde, mais d'autres infections, des substances toxiques (par exemple l'alcool, certains m dicaments) et des maladies auto-immunes peuvent galement tre l'origine de l'h patite.Environ 1 personne sur 12 dans le monde, soit quelque 500 millions de personnes, vit avec une h patite virale chronique. L'h patite virale fait partie des dix maladies infectieuses les plus meurtri res et constitue la principale cause de cancer du foie et de cirrhose.L'objectif de cette tude tait de d terminer la pr valence du virus de l'h patite B et les facteurs de risque de l'h patite, ainsi que la sensibilisation l'h patite chez les tudiants de l'universit de Jamshoro Sindh.
