Aleksandra er en familiehistorie fra Ukraine, en fortælling om en slægt og et sted på Jorden, som aldrig rigtig kan få fred. I 1942 blev fortælleren Lisas mormor, Aleksandra, bortført af nazisterne fra hjemmet i Luhansk og taget til Tyskland, hvor hun blev tvunget til at arbejde på en fabrik, der fremstillede Zyklon B-gas til gaskamrene i koncentrationslejrene. Lisa skal finde sin onkel Kolja og overrække et særligt klæde med familieseglet på til ham, men den hollandske side af familien har ikke hørt fra onkel Kolja siden slaget om Luhansk i 2015, så Lisa ved ikke, om hun leder efter onklen selv, eller om hun skal finde hans grav. Forfatter Lisa Weeda bruger sin egen familiehistorie i romanen til at fortælle om kosakkerne, der red stepperne tynde, om 2. Verdenskrig, hvor Ukraine var fanget mellem Tyskland og Stalingrad, om Stalins sultetaktikker, om sovjettiden og om de konflikter, der stadig eksisterer i dag og i romanen kulminerer med annekteringen af Krimhalvøen og kampene i Donbas. Why are images of girls in distress considered so alluring? Polish artist Aleksandra Waliszewska (born 1976) rebels against traditional representations of victimhood. In her paintings on cardboard, reminiscent of Raymond Pettibon, the girls do not need or want to be rescued; although seemingly innocent and vulnerable, they are depicted as forces of aggression and ruthless domination. Born during communism but coming of age after its fall in 1989, Waliszewska moves easily across cultural contexts, enjoying both institutional acclaim as well as popularity among Poland’s youth counterculture. Es scheint, dass die Ver ffentlichungen in dieser Sammlung es uns erm glichen, uns auf einige der m glichen Aspekte der philologischen Untersuchung des Werks des Schriftstellers zu konzentrieren, die eindeutig unterentwickelt sind, aber gleichzeitig im Lichte einiger der neuesten Trends in der linguistischen Erkenntnis relevant geworden sind. Zu diesen Aspekten geh rt insbesondere die Analyse des Sprachgewebes der Werke von Aleksandra Marinina unter dem Gesichtspunkt der kognitiven Linguistik, der kommunikativen Linguistik und der kommunikativen Stilistik literarischer Texte, die bereits zu einem Teil der letzteren geworden ist. The collection includes articles published at different times in scientific collections of different nature and thematic orientation, united by the object of research: detective works of one of the most readable contemporary writers - Alexandra Marinina. It seems that the publications in this collection allow us to focus on some of the possible aspects of philological study of the writer's work, which are clearly underdeveloped, but at the same time have become relevant in the light of some of the latest trends in linguistic knowledge. These aspects, in particular, include the analysis of the speech tissue of the works by Aleksandra Marinina from the standpoint of cognitive linguistics, communicative linguistics and communicative stylistics of literary text, which has already become a part of the latter. Research in this sphere allows, among other things, a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of the author and characters' key characters in a literary prose work.
