As a client or a developer, what do you need to consider when developing an age-appropriate website or mobile application? This book explains how age-related limitations affect the use of websites and mobile applications. If gerontological aspects are not taken into account in the design of digital channels, older people tend to do without them. Therefore, websites and mobile applications need to take into account the needs of older people. In the book, you will find useful recommendations on how to do this so that your websites and mobile apps are easy to use for everyone.

Alexandra: the research of a Ukrainian psychologist into women's sensual fantasies. A Collection of over 50 subtly sensual fantasiesIt may be naughty, raunchy and exciting but this is also a book that shows women how they can be empowered by their deepest thoughts. It is a book that every woman should read. In this anthology of over 50 subtly erotic fantasies collected from friends, and clients, and drawing from her own deepest thoughts she both exposes her life to a full and open scrutiny while offering all women a glimpse of their own sexual potential.Psychologist, fashion model, Ukrainian, happy in love, empowered and in control of her life and body and with degrees from Kiev and London, Alexandra is an expert in female sensual fantasies. As social psychologist, her focus is on the impact on social behaviours of women's erotic and sexual fantasies. Based in Central Europe, she has collected over fifty women's deeply erotic, sensual and personal fantasies. But there is more. She is also a model and has modelled for fashion brands, often in tight and skimpy lingerie, and shown and exposed every curve of her body in magazines and on billboards, but she has always been in control and empowered. As she says: "I have spent much of my adult life thinking about how women think about sex. I am one of the lucky people who really enjoy their work."This book was written for women but it is also great reading for men. Maybe we can all agree that, generally, men just don't understand women and our needs. So, men, if you must, please read and buy Alexandra; you might learn something and you will also enjoy it immensely "I have always known how to control men, to make them mine. I knew this very early in my life. It is innate and not about sex; men can have sex any time they want. Control of a man is in the mind. It is about stimulating his imagination and desire. Feed the imagination and desire will come. Imagination takes us to places we normally can't go, but make that imagination real and we all follow. I have set out to fulfil many of my personal fantasies because that is my nature. It was always my choice. I have done many very naughty and often wicked things. I regret nothing."This is a book all women should read. What others have said"She has shown me who and what I can be without feeling guilty." Paula, London"You might love or loathe her but you can't help but admire and respect her. I just had to keep reading to know what she was going to do next. She is not limited by society and conformity. She knows what she wants and she is not afraid to go get it. This is a book for all women." Jane, California, USA

Alexandra is a story set in a near future that is all-too-possible. Humans are changing the environment and ecology of the planet without thought to the consequences for the planet or human civilisation. Many civilisations have collapsed in the face of environmental change, and our current technology dependent society is also vulnerable despite the hubris of science and technology. The novel follows two young women who learn to cope in a world that changes completely in their lifetimes.

But when her brother's best friend-and secret obsession-returns from a long spell abroad, she begins losing interest in the suitable young lord she's expected to marry. Suddenly, family duty and a flawless reputation seem less important than the chance, however slight, that her girlhood crush might notice her now that she's all grown up...Tristan Nesbitt has done some growing up himself over the last few years, what with moving across oceans, inheriting a title, and facing a devastating scandal. But through it all, he's never forgotten the Chases, the closest thing he had to a family back in his school days. When his old friend Griffin Chase requests a favor, he's happy to oblige, as long as he can maintain enough distance from the family that his infamous past won't tarnish their good name. Alexandra: A History is a social and political history of one of South Africa's oldest townships. It begins with the founding of Alexandra as a freehold township in 1912 and traces its growth as a centre of black working-class life through the early years before the Nationalist government, through the struggles of the apartheid era and into the present day. Declared as a location for 'natives and coloureds', Alexandra became home to a diverse population where stand owners, tenants, squatters, hostel-dwellers, workers and migrants from every corner of the country converged to make a new life for themselves near the economic hub of Johannesburg. The stories of ordinary people are at the core of the township's history. Based on numerous life-history interviews with residents and previously unexamined archive sources, the book portrays in vivid detail the daily struggles and tribulations of the people of Alexandra. A significant focus is the rich history of political resistance, in which political organisations and civic movements organised bus boycotts, anti-removal and anti-pass campaigns, and mobilised for housing and a better life for the township's residents. But the book also tells the stories of daily life, of the making of urban cultures and of the infamous Spoilers and Msomi gangs. Over weekends Alexandra came alive as soccer matches, church services and shebeens vie for the attention of residents. Alexandra: A History highlights the social complexities of the township, which at times caused tension between different segments of the population. Above all else, despite a long history of hardship and adversity, the community spirit of the people of Alexandra, expressed in a fiercely loyal love of their township home, has repeatedly triumphed and endured.

Four very short stories about the everyday life of a little girl and her mum, by Ireland's first Children's Laureate. Alexandra’s adventures include changing her name, bedtime fears and a plaster disaster. In each story, Alexandra's mum helps her to learn about herself and the world by allowing her to make her own discoveries. These warm stories by Ireland’s first Children’s Laureate were originally broadcast on Ireland's state broadcaster, RTE, and are great for reading aloud to children. Gentle and lovely illustrations create a warm and loving atmosphere between Alexandra and her mum.
