Gli AAC stanno diventando potenziali materiali ingegneristici che offrono un'eccellente combinazione di propriet come l'alta resistenza specifica, l'alta rigidit specifica, la conducibilit elettrica e termica, il basso coefficiente di espansione termica e la resistenza all'usura. Grazie alla loro eccellente combinazione di propriet , gli AAC vengono utilizzati in diverse applicazioni nei settori automobilistico, minerario, aerospaziale, della difesa e in altri settori correlati.
