Der Schwerpunkt dieser überarbeiteten Kommentierung der VOB, Ausgabe 2016, liegt in der Umsetzung der Vergaberechtsreform 2016. Hieraus folgend wurden der Abschnitt 2 der VOB/A sowie der 4. Teil des GWB (Gesetz gegen Wettbewerbsbeschränkungen) und die übergreifend geltenden Regelungen der VgV (Vergabeverordnung) entsprechend neu kommentiert. Im Teil B wurden insbesondere die Änderungen der Kündigungsregelungen und das bevorstehende neue Bauvertragsrecht des BGB berücksichtigt. Kompetenz und Praxisnähe – die Vorzüge der vorherigen Auflagen, die den Erfolg des Werkes ausmachen, zeichnen auch diese Neubearbeitung aus.
Klassismus ist ein bislang noch wenig bekannter Begriff zur Bezeichnung der individuellen, institutionellen und kulturellen Diskriminierung und Unterdrückung aufgrund des tatsächlichen, vermuteten oder zugeschriebenen sozial- oder bildungspolitischen Status'. Menschen in Armutsverhältnissen wird zum Beispiel gewalttätiges Verhalten oder Alkoholismus stereotyp unterstellt und medial inszeniert, obwohl diese Phänomene klassenübergreifend gleichermaßen vorkommen. Der Begriff Klassismus beschreibt die Erfahrung persönlicher Diskriminierung von Menschen als gesellschaftliches, strukturelles Problem. Damit ergänzt und überschneidet er sich mit der Analyse von Rassismus, Sexismus und anderen Diskriminierungsformen. Zum ersten Mal liegt nun in deutscher Sprache eine Einführung in Buchform vor. Die VerfasserInnen beschreiben die Ursprünge des Klassismusbegriffs und seine Alltags- und Widerstandspraxen in den USA und zeigen die politischen Anschlussfähigkeiten im Kontext der Bundesrepublik auf.

Andrea Randazzo, vissuto a Sciacca fra il 1726 e il 1756, sostanzialmente un indice ragionato di tutti gli atti dei notai saccensi suoi predecessori, dal principio del sec. XV al '700, organizzato a mo' di breve regesto, annotato sotto voci disposte alfabeticamente (donazioni, matrimoni, privilegi, ecc.). Non manca una parte descrittiva delle istituzioni religiose (chiese, conventi e monasteri) della citt con le donazioni e legati ad esse effettuati nel tempo e una rassegna delle varie gabelle istituite dai giurati nel corso dei secoli. Circa cinquecento pagine di annotazioni di matrimoni e altrettanti di testamenti.
