It is my privilege to make available this excellent book on the "Jewish Offerings and Other Ministry" in this reprint. Arthur J. Marks does an excellent job of relating the offerings of Leviticus to our blessed Lord Jesus. It is not a book for entertainment or casual reading as he goes into depth with the subject.
This is a solid, well-detailed account of Arthur J. Goldberg, who played a leading role in American political life from the Second World War to the end of the 1960s. A prominent and defining figure in the American labour movement, Goldberg became Secretary of Labor under the Kennedy Administration before being named a justice to the Supreme Court. He was also ambassador to the United Nations under Johnson's presidency.
In the mid-1860s Arthur J Munby began to collect the first mass-produced photographic images of working-class women in England, recording fascinating details about the women, the places he purchased the photographs and the raging debates on this new commercial practice of photography, in accompanying diaries. Many of these images – not to mention Munby’s fascinating diaries - have never been published before. This book examines this previously un-investigated archive, offering a fresh and arresting perspective on the interrelationships between photographic representations of working-class women, the creation of new identities of class and gender and the evolution of popular conceptions of photography itself.
