Asar Imhotep

Inspired by classical African meta-physics, Asar Imhotep (The Black Lotus) has compiled a compelling collection of essays and poetry that reflects his insights and perspectives on various issues, including the relevance of Satan, the error in obtaining freedom, the conceptual conductivity of the human body, the importance of emotions during a rite of passage, and the self-destructive nature of allowing your enemy to become your deity. Asar introduces to us a poetic discourse that is deeply rooted in an ethnopoetics whose tradition has heavily influenced the art of our time, such as Hip Hop. The themes range widely from the metaphysical (I am that I am), to the bliss of love (Let me love you), to the power of self-affirmation (I'm so Black), to the pure indulgence in classic word wizardry (Still not convinced). Esodus: Internal Reflections and Conversations with the Sun is sure to inspire you to think big, think often, think critically, and expand the boundaries of your imagination.
Nsw.T Bjt.J (King) in Ancient Egyptian: : A Lesson in Paronymy and Leadership
Nsw.t Bjt.j (King) in Ancient Egyptian: A Lesson in Paronymy and Leadership takes a fresh look into the meaning of the name Nsw.t Bjt.j (Nesut Bitii "King") in the ancient ci.Kam (Egyptian) languages using the analytical tools of anthropological linguistics and comparative cultural anthropology. Its aim is to explicate from primary sources-and from related African languages and cultures-the methods that inspire the various conceptual and emblematic associations related to ancient Egyptian kingship in particular and African kingship in general. In addition, Nsw.t Bjt.j also explores the primary functions and duties of the African king (and queen) in an effort to develop a framework for creating effective leaders in the modern African world community.
Towards a Comparative Dictionary of Cikam and Modern African Languages
Towards a Comparative Dictionary of Cikam and Modern African Languages is a collection of vocabulary comparisons from the various works of Asar Imhotep (from 2013-2020) of the ancient Egyptian language with cognates in modern African languages (e.g., ciBantu, Kalenjiin, Sumerian, Yorùbá, and Meroitic). This is a preliminary work whose aim is to set the foundation for an online searchable database of ancient Egyptian vocabulary and its cognates in other Cyena-Ntu (formally Negro-Egyptian) languages. This book begins with an examination of internal comparisons of the ancient Egyptian language (primarily Middle-Egyptian) in an effort to detect dialect varieties and/or other languages spoken in the Nile Valley. From there we examine Egyptian with modern African languages, as well as two ancient languages: i.e., Sumerian and Meroitic. There is little commentary as the focus is only to display and demonstrate the regularity of sound-meaning correspondences between the compared languages. This sets the groundwork for a more detailed analysis of the data (for additions and corrections), in conjunction with other comparative studies, so that future researchers can establish the sound-laws that explain the evolution of forms from the proto-language (Post-Classic Cyena-Ntu) to the modern varieties in the daughter languages.

This book brings together in English translation for the first time the two editions of Sir Syed Ahmed Khan's classic account of the monuments and environs of the pre-colonial city of Delhi, titled in Urdu Asar-us-Sanadid (The Remnants of Ancient Heroes). The translator provides a commentary in the form of annotations and appendices that demonstrates the historical development of the text between 1847 and 1854, also reflecting the life of its subject, Delhi, which was to be irreversibly transformed by the cataclysmic events of 1857. The volume includes sketches based on the lithographs in the first Urdu edition. The translation fills a crucial lacuna in the historical archive for nineteenth-century Delhi and will be a valuable resource for urban historians and students of Delhi's monumental history.

Poetry is the highest form of art. In the construction of which different elements seem to be working; But these elements are interconnected in such a subtle way that to separate them would be to dull its aesthetic life. Asar Lakhnavi was a famous and well-known Urdu poet, writer, reliable critic, translator and linguist. His real name was Mirza Jafar Ali Khan and his pen name was Asar.
