In 1980, John Bonham, considered one of the greatest drummers of all time, died under tragic circumstances. Two months later, a simple letter signed by fellow band members Robert Plant, Jimmy Page, and John Paul Jones stated that Bonham could not be replaced. After nine multi-million-selling albums and record-breaking world tours, Led Zeppelin came to an abrupt and premature end. This personal account of John Bonham s life was written by the person who knew him besthis brother, Mick. Beginning with his childhood, the book follows Bonham s rise as the internationally acclaimed drummer of one of the most successful rock bands of all time. Featuring interviews and previously unpublished photos, this is a tribute not only to John Bonham, but also to Mick Bonham, who died after completing this book."
The Bonham family, while rich, were relatively humble. They kept to themselves and mostly out of each other's way - until the siblings each received a strange invitation from the Matriarch, their Grandmother Ellie Bonham. Called together in a remote area of a vast park, Will, Danielle, Fiona, Eliza, Tim, and Gina, along with their spouses and children, convene to discover what their illustrious Grandmother has in store for them - and why they have been summoned. Instructed to bring something that reminded them of her, most of the siblings bring only flowers and questions, questions that deepen when they stumble upon a large mound of their Grandmother's items, things that were obviously taken from the expansive mansion in which she lives. That bundle of Knick knacks opens a mystery that will take them one by one, testing loyalties, trust and funneling them into a diabolical scheme that may ultimately break the family apart.

Hilarious, heart-warming, faith-enlarging ..."I don't love God." Little did Gen-Z seminarian Katie Westcott know that when she made that confession to English professor Martin Bonham one fine summer day it would throw the quiet campus of Cupperton University into an uproar. Nothing would be the same again. Together, this unlikely pair of oddballs poses this question: What if students could major in "loving God"-not religion or theology, but in the daily challenge of loving the Creator with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength? Well, now they can ... in the new and innovative Department of Theophily-the department of loving God. Yet, strangely enough, not everyone is happy about the new department, and they will stop at nothing to see it shut down.Part sitcom, part inspiration, this thoughtful theological comedy is like a Venn diagram in which C. S. Lewis and P. G. Wodehouse intersect.

This major textbook survey, first published in 1992, explains how the Caribbean's present geography is intimately tied to the past. The Caribbean was Europe's first colony, its landscapes transformed to produce tropical staples and its decimated aboriginal populace replaced with African slaves. As European power has waned in the Caribbean, it has been replaced by the geopolitical domination of the United States. Professor Richardson examines this colonisation and recolonisation of the Caribbean during the past half millennium, portraying a region victimised by natural hazards, soil erosion, over population and gunboat diplomacy. Most importantly, he explains the ways in which Caribbean peoples have reacted and adapted to their external influences. No other single survey of the region provides equivalent breadth - ranging from aboriginal ecologies to today's narcotic traffic - or harnesses so effectively elements of the past to illuminate the present.
