El sistema es actuado por m sculos neum ticos y su estructura se basa en la anatom a humana. El mecanismo fue dise ado y elaborado utilizando materiales ligeros y emula los movimientos de flexi n y extensi n del miembro inferior humano. Los materiales utilizados para los m sculos neum ticos de este prototipo se emplean en diversas aplicaciones industriales. Por sus caracter sticas, estos materiales fueron utilizados para la elaboraci n de un m sculo neum tico, una aplicaci n no com n. La elaboraci n de los m sculos neum ticos no se incluye en este libro. El sistema de lazo cerrado empleado en este prototipo se divide en tres partes: 1) el sistema de sensor basado en dispositivos de posici n de efecto Hall. 2) una tarjeta de adquisici n de datos basada en un DsPIC30F4011 y 3) Algoritmo de control implementado en LabView.
