"There is only one body and one spirit even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God, and Father of all, who is above all and through all and in you all" (Ephesians 4:4-6). There is only one true, living God, the God that made heaven and earth. There is only one church, the body of Christ, which is a body of believers in Christ through the gospel. There is one faith, Christianity. "Jesus saith unto him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man cometh unto the Father but by me" (John 14:6). Jesus is not a way, but the way, he is the door to eternal life. "Neither is there salvation in any other for there is none name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). Jesus Christ is the savior of the world, the redeemer, God in human flesh."'Ye are my witness, ' saith the Lord, 'and my servant whom I have chosen that ye may know and believe me and understand that I am he. Before me, there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. I, even I, am the Lord, and beside me there is no savior. I have declared and have saved, and I have shown when there was no strange god among you. Therefore, ye are my witnesses, ' saith the Lord, 'that I am God'" (Isaiah 43:10-12). "'Thus, ' saith the Lord, the king of Israel, and his redeemer the Lord of hosts, 'I am the first, and I am the last, and beside me there is no God'" (Isaiah 44:6).The true and living God must be able to redeem his follower from sin or he's not God because there is nothing too hard for God. For God to forgive your sin, something or someone must die in your place and atone for your sin by his blood. "Because without the shedding of blood is no forgiveness of sin" (Hebrews 9:22). Once you believe the gospel of Jesus Christ, the blood of Jesus cleanses your sin, then God forgives your sin. God cannot forgive your sins until it is cleansed by the blood of Jesus. "'I am alpha and omega, the beginning and the end, ' saith the Lord, 'which is and which was and which is to come.'" The Almighty Jesus Christ is saying that he is Almighty God in the flesh, our redeemer. No one can forgive and redeem you from your sin but God Almighty. You cannot work off sin, it must be redeemed, and the redeemer must be sinless because a sinner cannot redeem another sinner.

This collection of poems is about love enduring, those who lived over 100, courage, Dorothy Day, compassion, why am I here, the mind and the years, four virtues, sugar, lost time, getting older, how to be old, living goodness, truth in soul, heart of a child again, great souls, a prayer, cherishing mother. The author's effort tries to speak to "the feet and fingertips" of the gentle reader, that one or more words or wordings touch a giving heart, and aid energetic eyes to look at the bright side.
Streets That Speak: Streets That Do Not Have Enough and Streets That Do Have Enough
Streets That Speak gives a verbal picture of streets with not much protection and others with more blessings. It is written as a reminder of souls with sagging roofs and some no roof at all, and those who fortunately have never held a cardboard sign begging for dollar or morsel, nor have gone to sleep in a tiny, dusty room with noise outside, bathroom down the hall.

Millie was my mother's best friend. They were both health-conscious, spiritual, honest to the core, who treated people right and had a strong love for animals. One example of Millie's caring is this collection of rich common sense voiced when she was 89, 90, and 91 years old. She undertook the interviews happily, because they were a way of helping others.
