Sign language interpreter education is a relatively young field that is moving toward more theory-based and research-oriented approaches. Die Familienbeschlusse des Zweiten Senats des Bundesverfassungsgerichts vom 10.11.1998 haben erneut Bewegung in die stets lebhaft gefuhrte Diskussion um die Besteuerung von Ehegatten und Familien gebracht. Die Autorin analysiert diese Beschlusse sowie die daraufhin ergangenen Familienfoerderungsgesetze und zeigt die sich hieraus ergebenden Konsequenzen auf. Ihre Analyse und Stellungnahme basieren auf einer Erarbeitung der Vorgaben des Grundgesetzes fur die Besteuerung von Ehegatten und Familien. Dabei wird deutlich, dass die Besteuerung von Ehegatten den verfassungsrechtlichen Anforderungen nach wie vor nicht genugt.
