Convoy Buddy CB Truckers Klub, blev stiftet i Maj 1978, og havde i starten kun til formål at samle danske truckere, med fælles interesse for CB-Radioer. Klubben avancerede ret hurtigt til at blive landets største, og senere startede klubben de store Trucker-Jamboree med Europas største udstillinger. Klubbens størrelse gjorde dem i stand til at sætte politisk dagsorden, og dermed give chaufførerne bedre vilkår. Vi følger klubbens opstart og de første 10 år af dens eksistens.Når de ”gamle” chauffører, stopper med at kører, slutter en epoke i dansk transport, og sammen med dem, forsvinder en mængde gode historier som under ingen omstændighed er blevet ringere efter at være blevet fortalt flere gange. Dem som kun læser historierne vil sige det er løgn - men dem som var med vil grine og få genoplivet gamle minder om en svunden tid.Bogen indeholder originale tekster fra klubbens klubblade, og historier som er skrevet af medlemmerne – man må derfor ikke forvente at læsestilen er ensartet.

En abordant cette tude, nous avons analys l' tat dans lequel se trouve la fili re huile de palme dans le Haut-Uele et projet ses perspectives.Les r sultats obtenus ont ressorti des contraintes d'ordre technique, conomique, financier, commercial, sociologique et politique la base la r gression de la fili re huile de palme dans le Haut-Uele.L'analyse MOFF a r v l entre-autres une demande locale et r gionale en huile de palme en croissance et une possibilit d'utilisation non alimentaire de ce produit sous forme de biodiesel, comme principales opportunit s pour l'avenir. Des menaces ont t observ s telles: la r duction future de la demande suite au lancement d'un vaste programme de plantation de palmier huile en Ouganda et au Nord-Kivu; l'arr t du trafic ferroviaire entre Aketi et Mungbere, ainsi que la d gradation des routes paralysant s rieusement l'approvisionnement et l' vacuation de ce produit.

Event and Subjectivity presents a rich phenomenological analysis of the event in contemporary phenomenology by focussing on the work of Claude Romano and Jean-Luc Marion. Although the event is a major topic of contemporary philosophy, its centrality has not been acknowledged enough in the phenomenological movement. The book starts with the idea that the event cannot find a proper place in Husserl's transcendental phenomenology and Heidegger's existential phenomenology. It proposes a phenomenological version of the event that transforms the definition of phenomenon, subjectivity and phenomenology itself in order to do justice to the phenomenality of the event. At the same time, Event and Subjectivity is the first book on Claude Romano's understanding of phenomenology in English. It also offers a fresh reading of the phenomenology of Jean-Luc Marion by highlighting the phenomenon of the event.

This book presents an innovative concept for designing a 400 kV double circuit composite tower. The major challenges encountered by the authors in the electrical design process of the composite tower are addressed. They concern material selection for the full composite cross-arm core, electrical insulation of the cross-arm, electrical dimensioning of the full composite tower, lightning shielding performance and failure of the full composite tower. The electric field performance of the tower’s insulation has been investigated theoretically by using finite element method and experimentally by testing different fiber reinforced polymers as candidates. The book reports in detail those finite element simulations and tests, together with the authors’ recommendations on the most suitable materials and manufacturing process as well as conductor clamp designs for the cross-arm. Another important issue of the full composite tower, which concerns the environmental aspects of the full composite tower, has also been evaluated. This book offers a timely reference guide on a highly innovative topic, addressing researchers working on power transmission system both in industry and academia.
