La cl nica Estomatol gica docente de la Universidad Se or de Sip n es un establecimiento que brinda servicios de salud, por lo que result fundamental evaluar el nivel en que han venido siendo desarrollados los registros; a su vez deber a ser de inter s para los profesionales docentes, ya que avalan dichos registros entre otros documentos concernientes al estado de salud bucal de los pacientes. Cabe resaltar que el estudio del llenado de las historias cl nicas permite emplear estos documentos como instrumento para mejorar los est ndares de atenci n, promover estrategias para el uso de protocolos y educar a los profesionales de la salud. Esta investigaci n adem s, sirve como base para establecer t cnicas con el objeto de mejorar la calidad asistencial, adem s de ser til como material de revisi n para futuras investigaciones.
