Die in diesem Buch entwickelte Forschung versucht, einen Teil der Beziehung zwischen der Inszenierung und der emotionalen Reaktion des Zuschauers auf eine Filmerz hlung zu untersuchen. Im Mittelpunkt unserer berlegungen steht die Frage nach der Korrespondenz zwischen den Gestaltungsregeln eines Filmgenres und den emotionalen Wirkungen, die sich in der Mimik des Zuschauers widerspiegeln. Auf der Grundlage eines Literatur berblicks ber zwei konzeptionelle Bereiche, die Mimik und die Theorie und Praxis des Kinos, soll untersucht werden, ob die emotionale Reaktion des Zuschauers dem entspricht, was der Regisseur bei der Planung des filmischen Werks beabsichtigt hat.

Au centre de notre r flexion se trouve la question de la correspondance, dans un genre cin matographique, entre les r gles de cr ation et les effets motionnels refl t s dans les expressions faciales du spectateur. partir d'une revue de la litt rature sur deux domaines conceptuels, les expressions faciales et la th orie et la pratique du cin ma, l'objectif est de comprendre si la r action motionnelle des spectateurs correspond ce que le r alisateur a voulu lors de la planification de l'oeuvre cin matographique.
Il cinema ha la capacit di indurre e manipolare le emozioni negli spettatori influenzando il loro stato psicologico, quindi i registi devono utilizzare strutture di messa in scena specifiche in base alla loro storia (Munstenberg, 1970). La ricerca sviluppata in questo libro cerca di mettere in discussione parte della relazione tra la messa in scena e la reazione emotiva degli spettatori in una narrazione cinematografica. Al centro della nostra riflessione c' la questione della corrispondenza, in un genere cinematografico, tra le regole di creazione e gli effetti emotivi che si riflettono nelle espressioni facciali degli spettatori. Sulla base di una revisione della letteratura su due aree concettuali, le espressioni facciali e la teoria e la pratica del cinema, l'obiettivo capire se la reazione emotiva degli spettatori corrisponde a ci che il regista voleva quando ha progettato l'opera cinematografica.
Film has the ability to induce and manipulate emotions in viewers by influencing their psychological state, so filmmakers need to use specific mise-en-sc ne structures according to their story (Munstenberg, 1970). The research developed in this book seeks to question part of the relationship between the mise-en-sc ne and the emotional reaction of viewers in a film narrative. At the center of our reflection is the question of the correspondence, in a film genre, between the rules of creation and the emotional effects reflected in the spectator's facial expressions. Based on a review of the literature on two conceptual areas, facial expressions and the theory and practice of cinema, the aim is to understand whether the emotional reaction of the spectators corresponds to what the director wanted when planning the cinematographic work.

Prolog has a declarative style. A predicate definition includes both the input and output parameters, and it allows a programmer to define a desired result without being concerned about the detailed instructions of how it is to be computed. Such a declarative language offers a solution to the software crisis, because it is shorter and more concise, more powerful and understandable than present-day languages. Logic highlights novel aspects of programming, namely using the same program to compute a relation and its inverse, and supporting deductive retrieval of informa tion. This is a book about using Prolog. Its real point is the examples introduced from Chapter 3 onwards, and so a Prolog programmer does not need to read Chapters 1 and 2, which are oriented more to teachers and to students, respec tively.
