If you find yourself swallowed up in confusion, not knowing your identity, this book will help you find you again. We are not encouraging you to throw those things away, but to do them as your authentic self. To know who you are and care as much about you as you care for others. My sisters, find your Free to Be.
Deborah Anthony has done it again, candidly unveiling her "Fully Surrendered" life full of color on pages of "COLORFUL: The Woman The Wife The Mother". Unapologetically, the pure essence of seeking authenticity as a woman at each stage of her journey. Painting a vivid portrait of three crucial roles: the woman, the wife and the mother, Deborah carries her readers through her life's story, embracing her own healing with grace and humility. Often misunderstood or even taken for granted, these 3 roles can only be filled by women. In a world where being a woman, wife or even mother is defined by revolt and rebellion, Deborah presents a refreshing depiction of who a modern Proverbs 31 woman should be. She also answers many of the perplexing questions that womanhood, marriage and motherhood can bring. I have had the immense honor and privilege of watching Deborah grow, blossom and bloom throughout many life events from her work career, to bringing forth the miracle and supporting her husband in his political career. Each time, grace supported her and brought her closer to the heart of God. Deborah beautifully describes the lost joy that painfully comes from fighting and resisting the true calling for women who become wives and mothers still longing for answers to questions most of us have yet to answer. Choosing to adapt to a principled lifestyle, owning her life choices and applying those lessons daily has rewarded her with life full of blessing, vibrancy and wonder. The world is waiting for authenticity and truth. Finally, it is here. Let your COLORFUL life begin.

References, to the reader, are like insulin to the diabetic: when needed they are indispensable, but in excess they induce coma. Moreover, when references are simply shovelled into a text in great gobbets, it is hard to resist the suspicion that the author has not read them all, but has copied some from a previous author's list. The story is told of one author who mischievously included in his list a bogus reference to an obscure foreign journal, and gleefully noted its frequent appearance in future articles. One of the joys of this present book is that the number of references to each topic is very small. But these few have been selected with dis cretion and studied with care. Each group of references is followed by a critical assessment, written with balanced judgment and commendable brevity, and how refreshing it is to find authors who read much but write little. In fact, these authors have followed the pattern of the sister work, Selected References in Orthopaedic Trauma, published in 1989.

The Air Force uses the Strength Aptitude Test (SAT) to determine whether recruits meet the fitness levels needed to perform the duties of various Air Force specialties with physical strength requirements. However, these duties may have changed since the SAT was developed. This report evaluates the SAT and related fitness tests to identify strategies for ensuring airmen can meet job-related physical requirements.
While most people know that Harriet Beecher Stowe's famous book Uncle Tom's Cabin spurred on abolotionist sentiments in the North, not many are aware of the vast abolitionist literature of children's books, poems, short stories, and essays. Many of these volumes were not written by seasoned authors, but by women whose primary roles were as mothers who functioned as domestic abolitionists, and have been lost to the ages. Here, De Rosa recovers a collection of these writings, illustrating the domestic abolitionists' effortsWhile most people know that Harriet Beecher Stowe's famous book Uncle Tom's Cabin spurred on abolitionist sentiments in the North, not many are aware of the fast abolitionist literature of children's books, poems, short stories, and essays. Many of these volumes were written by domestic women, not seasoned authors, and have been lost to the ages. Here, De Rosa recovers a collection of these writings, illustrating the domestic abolitionists' efforts when cultural imperatives demanded women's silence. These women asserted their anti-slavery sentiments through the voices of victims (slave children and mothers), white mother-historians, and abolitionist children in juvenile literature, one of the few genres available to female authors of the period. This collection restores the voices of these little known authors and shows how their voices helped to influence children and adults of the period. For women struggling to find a voice in the abolitionist movement while maintaining the codes of gender and respectability, writing children's literature was an acceptable strategy to counteract the opposition. By seizing the opportunity to write abolitionist juvenile literature, domestic abolitionists maintained their identities as exemplary mother-educators, preserved their claims to femininity, and simultaneously entered the public arena. By adapting literary strategies popular in nineteenth-century juvenile narratives, domestic novels, and slave narratives to document slavery's violation of religious, economic, and political principles, these women spoke out against and institution that stood in marked contrast to the beliefs they held so dear. This anthology aims to fill the important gap in our understanding of women's literary productions about race and gender and illustrates the limitations of a canon that excludes such voices.

Childhood anxiety disorders represent one of the most common psychological disorders found among the general population. They can be serious, distressful, and functionally impairing, so much so that there has been an explosion of interest in their treatment, primarily from pharmacological and cognitive-behavioral perspectives.Addressing these perspectives is the Second Edition of Child Anxiety Disorders. Beidel and Alfano pay close attention to new pharmacological and psychological interventions as well as multi-center trials that compare single and combined treatment modalities. Additionally, they include new case studies, sections on stability of childhood fears and the longitudinal course of anxiety disorders, and a new chapter on sleep and anxiety disorders. Written on the cusp of newly published information and studies, Child Anxiety Disorders is relevant, informative, and indispensible.

"I can verify the feelings of each soldier during these actions in Greece and on Crete because I was there experiencing the same feelings." - Alfred Carpenter, World War Two Veteran, 2020 A lifetime has passed since the men involved in the Battle of Crete left Australia and New Zealand to join the British to go and fight for the freedom of others. This little reported battle had far reaching consequences for all involved. Here we become aware of how a handful of these ANZACs felt, what they saw and experienced in Greece, Crete and in numerous POW camps where some of them were interned. We realise how the small contacts they had with home through parcels and letters came to mean the world to them. We learn how they grieved for lost comrades. The forging of unbreakable bonds, particularly with the Cretan people who fought alongside them, often at great sacrifice to themselves, their families and friends. How 80 years later those bonds of friendship have been handed down from family to family. "You have done your best to save us. We are finished, but the war is not lost. Therefore save what you can to help win the war elsewhere." - Alexandros Koryzis, Prime Minister of Greece,
