Most of us live ordinary lives. Unless we have the need to reach out and take an extraordinary step, a step that some might call heroic, our own life story is probably quite predictable. Not so for the characters in "Rhythms of Love." This story begins ordinarily enough: a widowed father and his son on the neighborhood playground; a woman, looking for a nice guy, her niece in tow, also on the playground. Before we know it, Luke and Maggie are disagreeing about how to raise Luke's son, Tommy, and falling in love at the same time. They just don't know it yet. Nor do they know what's in store for all of them, as this romance quickly becomes an adventure that would test the mettle of many.Luke's four-year-old son, Tommy, never experienced the love of his mother because she died giving birth to Tommy. Jessie, Luke's sister, another important character in this carefully woven story, has been like a mother to Tommy. Tommy was born totally deaf. You will find his brave behavior throughout our story inspiring. You will also root for Jessie, who has been living a quiet nightmare, and who must eventually face her shame. That's because this book is about past relationships that went very wrong, and present relationships that go very right. It's about unspeakable crimes that happen under the noses of everyone, but no one finds out until it's almost too late. It's about two people who love each other and refuse to give in to those trials of life that haunt most of us. And it's about the heroic acts of just one unlikely person. The twist at the end of our story will turn the crime on its head as our hero goes to court and dramatically speaks from the heart. If you like sweet romances with frank bedroom scenes and frank language, "Rhythms of Love" will deliver. This complex romance with its exciting episodic plot line makes for some adventuresome reading. If you want to pass time joyfully and experience a satisfying ending to this interesting, fast moving romance, "Rhythms of Love" could be exactly what you are looking for. This 69,000-word book is the perfect length for recreational reading. The content is suitable reading for adults 18 or older and mature teens.

Determined to find true happiness, William leaves his complicated life behind and sets off to pursue his own pleasures. One minute he is riding through his beloved medieval forest, the next minute he finds himself hooded and chained to the ground, unable to escape. Frustrated, he eventually determines his captor to be a woman; she is heavily armored, something quite unusual for these simpler times when gender roles were clearly defined. But eventually he comes to know deeply his strange captor, her true intentions and the seriousness of her own plight. Sarah, for that's her name, needs his help, and she asks that William help her conquer a hissing, snarling, fire vomiting flesh and blood dragon. Failure to bring the dragon to its reptilian knees has massive implications for both Sarah and William. But there is quite a puzzle here. What is the true source of the dragon's power? The nature of the ancient spell that makes the dragon real is made clear only when the heat of battle reveals it. And the knowledge of it almost comes too late This love story seems simple at the outset. But like any good story, elements pop up along the way that greatly complicate the future happiness, if there should even be a future happiness, for our two lovers. In the tradition of a great romance, the story ends most satisfyingly. But the road to the end is difficult. It will be quite a ride for our heroes as they finally find true happiness in the stirring glory of victory. SEQUEL: The sequel to this story is the book, "Dragon Boy," where knights and dragons find reality in the 21st Century, and where romance, once again, saves the day

Picture this. A young man at a modern day Renaissance fair is dressed in gleaming armor. He and his two friends love everything about the medieval world, and so they go to fairs like these where Charlie can show off his armor making skills and their mutual sword fighting skills. Across the way from Charlie's vendor spot sits a woman in full niqab; she is veiled in black from head to toe. The sign at her own vender spot says she is a druid who will do a rune casting for free. For whatever reason, Charlie is attracted to this covered woman, and so he approaches her. And this is where our story begins. What is this woman dressed in what is clearly middle eastern garb and posing as a druid doing at a Renaissance fair? And even after Charlie gets to know her, why won't she show herself to him? What is she afraid of? Why is she attracted to Charlie as much as he is to her? And where in the heck did she acquire those impressive Karate skills he will soon discover she has? It's clear that Rosie is her own woman. The more Charlie learns about her, the more he loves her. We think of fire-spitting dragons as a myth of medieval times. But this story will show us that dragons are very much alive in the 21st century. It's just that the dragon looks quite different now than then. The dragon's ever-present evil influence drives the plot of this fast paced story, and Charlie and Rosie will eventually have to face this dragon, a considerable undertaking for our lovers. In this present day romance the dragon is figurative, of course, but it has evolved into what has moved beyond myth and into the real world where we all live. The prequel of this story is "Lady Dragon," a fantasy romance where our heroes deal with a "real" dragon, and where once again, love conquers all. The dragon lives....
