Cameron and the Dinosaur Heroes is the story of a little boy and his dog. One boring day, Cameron's cocker spaniel puppy brought a large box to Cameron. It was a magical box. And Cameron and Kitt set off in their time machine box with a pillow, a steering wheel, and a dream to see dinosaurs. Cameron always knew his special dinosaur friend would be a red tyrannosaurus rex. He would be bigger than normal. He would be smarter the normal. And together, they would have all kinds of adventures. Maybe they could even help other dinosaurs that were in trouble. Cameron's dream adventure took him back in time. He got to meet several dinosaurs, and they hunted, played, and ate together. But the biggest surprise of all came from his magical box that turned to a time machine.

Kindness has the power to profoundly change our relationships with other people and with ourselves. It can, in fact, change the world. In A Year of Living Kindly - using stories, observation, humor, and summaries of expert research - Donna Cameron shares her experience committing to 365 days of practicing kindness. She presents compelling research into the myriad benefits of kindness, including health, wealth, longevity, improved relationships, and personal and business success. Presents a first analytical study that looks at the overarching designs of Benjamin Britten's John Donne, Thomas Hardy and William Blake solo song cycles. By questioning when a group of songs ought to be understood not merely as a collection, but as a cycle, Sly shows that Britten's personal selection and arrangement is indispensable to understanding these cycles' extra-musical communication. The Holy Sonnets of John Donne, Winter Words (poems by Hardy) and Songs and Proverbs of William Blake - composed in 1945, 1953 and 1965 respectively - each represent a philosophical exploration. The terrains set out by the three poets are distinct, but also engage one another in important and unexpected ways. Their cyclic architectures are expressed not only in their poetic arrangement, but in their musical settings. Key relationships and motive remain central for Britten. Keys convey a network of interconnections, create groupings of songs, and establish levels of tonal affinity or distance. Motive - often intervals that can fit into any melodic, harmonic or rhythmic context - is used to create aural affinities between or among individual songs. This book also offers a broader narrative revealing Britten's evolving philosophical convictions in post-war Britain. While it may not be the case that Britten intended any broader philosophical comment, the works together outline the cold and brittle state that emerges from loss and aligns with their composer's increasingly stark outlook on humanity.

In recent years, consumption ofseafood products has risen dramatically. Howev- er, along with the growth inconsumption, there has beengrowingenthusiasm for efforts to improve the qualityand the perceived safety of seafoods. This has culminated in'the debate on "Mandatory Seafood Inspection." While quality and safety are the principal issues behind the inspection debate, microbiology is one of the principal sciences associated with quality and safety. All foodcommodities have their owndistinctive microbiology. However, of all the food commodities, seafoods have one ofthe most, ifnot the most, diverse and complex microbiologies. Unlike meat or poultry products where only a few species are represented in each group, the term seafoods encompasses hundreds ot genera and species. Concems associated with mollusks are often quite differ- ent from those associated with finfish or crustaceans. Other factors contributing to the microbiological complexity are the range of environmental habitat (freshwater to saltwater; tropical waters to arctic waters; pelagic swimmers to sessile bottom dwellers) and processing practices (iced fresh products to com- mercially sterile canned products; hand labor to mechanized processes). This bookprovides acomprehensiveexaminationofmicrobiological quality and safety concems of seafood from harvest through processing. Many of the chapters are the mostcomprehensive reviews to date. Aconcertedeffort has been made to incorporate discussions on topics that are both timely and timeless.

What defines a woman? Is it the tone of her voice, or the small of her back? Does her ability to self-sacrifice come into play? DONNA is a deeply-emotional poetry collection that explores the themes of womanhood, manhood, and spirituality. It's divided into three chapters: Sex refers to the sex-based oppression that all women suffer from.Wisdom represents the life lessons gained from growing into a fully-matured woman.Servitude relates to the author's spirituality and submitting to a higher power.
