The Sound of Architecture is a personal book about the internationally active Dortmund architect Eckhard Gerber. It is the story of a life between East and West Germany, shaped by his parental home, a Protestant parsonage in Thuringia, his studies in Braunschweig, and his constantly being put to the test by his profession. Die auf die 1819 vom Reichsfreiherrn Karl vom Stein gegrundete "Gesellschaft fur altere deutsche Geschichtskunde" zuruckgehenden Monumenta Germaniae Historica haben die Aufgabe, durch kritische Quellen-Ausgaben und -Studien der wissenschaftlichen Erforschung der mittelalterlichen Geschichte Deutschlands und Europas zu dienen. Dieses Ziel verfolgen sie dadurch, dass sie in ihren Editionsreihen mittelalterliche Textquellen der Forschung zuganglich machen und durch kritische Studien zur wissenschaftlichen Erforschung der deutschen und europaischen Geschichte beitragen. Die Aufgaben der Monumenta Germaniae Historica haben sich in den letzten Jahrzehnten durch die Einbeziehung neuer Quellengruppen und durch die Vermehrung der Forschungsbereiche stetig erweitert. Am Anfang seiner Studie stellt Moritz Ba ler die Frage: Was ist geschehen in der Welt der Literatur? "Auf einmal gibt es wieder Autoren ber deren Texte man sich austauscht, die nicht von einer Kulturredaktion, sondern von Gleichgesinnten empfohlen werden ...]" Was ist das, was diese Literatur besonders macht, wodurch ist sie gekennzeichnet? Diese Fragen stelle ich mir auch und werde in meiner Arbeit das Ph nomen der Pop-Literatur aufgrund der Forschungen von Moritz Ba ler "Der deutsche Pop-Roman" und Eckhard Schumacher "Gerade Eben Jetzt" untersuchen. Als Ziel meiner Arbeit sehe ich das Herausfinden der Gemeinsamkeiten und der Unterschiede in der Analyse der Popliteratur bei beiden Autoren. Vor allem werde ich mich mit der Frage auseinandersetzen welche Aspekte dieses Ph nomens von Schumacher und Ba ler als ma gebende f r das Verst ndnis der Popliteratur betrachtet wurden. Des Weiteren werde ich analysieren welche Vertreter der Popliteratur in den Studien f r die Belegung der jeweiligen Thesen ausgesucht wurden. Abschlie end werde ich mein Urteil bez glich der beiden Werke f llen.
