In my second installment of "My Mornings with Jesus" I wanted to encourage my young adults. They have many issues that we as parents fail to see sometimes. I wanted them to be able to write down some of their thoughts and prayers.

She walks with her head held high with such grace. When she smiles it lights up a room. She never ever holds herself above anyone else, though at times it appears she is. Although she never apologizes she is apathetic. She remains firm in thought and mind. She does what she does and is meant to do; whether others approve or not; during which time her head is always held high. When she disagrees she never rants, but states her case; knowing beforehand some will accept others won't; feeling at peace that she has done so. She never ever compares herself to others; that's not important; she already knows she's a part of the world because she is alive. She works with life's difficulties with a clear and focused mind and when the chips are down she picks them up one by one; being wise to weep when needed, laugh when needed and become angry when needed; in other words she accepts all those things and never denies them. She is the first and foremost to blame herself for her difficulties; with the knowledge that she, too, was a contributor; no matter how the dice are tossed. Behind the mask of her life are issues that are leading her on a downward spiral. It has been said, "Depression is a cry in the soul that something is missing." And many, many women experience that cry at one time or another to one degree or another. I bet no one knows she lives with a mental illness called Bi-Polar Disorder. She has finally decided she cannot deal with this on her own and she will "Give Her Silence a Voice".......

This book is for all of us women who have a challenging time with everyday life. In my first book "It's Ok You Don't Have to Be Superwoman", I talked about how we as women try to be everything to everybody and often leave out God. We become so overwhelmed that we developed the superwoman syndrome. This next installment shows you how and encourages us to take off the cape and make life easier by becoming Godly Women.

It is my hope that this devotional helps you to know how much God loves you and that he only wants the best for you. It is my hope that you know that you may suffer losses, you may become unsure of yourself, and may even be going through a storm, God is in the midst of it with you. There is nothing too hard for God, he knew and knows everything that has happened and id happening to you. I named my third installment of My Mornings With Jesus When I Come Through This because I wanted others to know the power of Favor, Love, Understanding, and Deliverance of depression that God placed over my life. The best gift we can give God is blessing others with our testimony on the power of God. I am nothing without God's power in my life. May God Bless every area of your life that needs blessing. May God Heal, Deliver, and give Peace in every area of your life.

This year I began to seek God like never before. I am a wife, mother, sister, daughter, auntie, and the strong friend. I realize that I am not superwoman, but a Godly woman of strength. Even with being a Godly woman of strength, life can still get stressful and overwhelming. I began talking to God just like I'm writing to you now. He gave me directions to keep a journal to write prayers, write things I needed to be delivered from and what I needed help with to get through my daily routine. I named my journal Faith book and I wrote in it every morning after I did my daily devotion while drinking hot chocolate. A couple of months after starting my journal God gave me the vision to help others that are struggling with daily routines, struggling with their prayer life or want a closer relationship with him. Maybe you need some help in realizing what your God given purpose is and need a push to get you motivated to walking in your God given destiny. It is my hope that this book of devotions will bless you in every area of your life. I pray that God speaks to his spirit in you and you walk into your God given destiny.

The collection: Forty verse and prose poems are divided into themes 'fire', 'sifting' and 'coast'.fire - the equal largest section with 15 poems primarily reflects my lived experience of the 'Black Summer' 2019-20 bushfires. My village of Lake Conjola was devastated when the Currowan Fire broke containment lines on New Year's Eve to destroy over 110 homes, with the loss of three lives. My devastated village became international news. Climate change destruction is a strong motif of poems in 'fire', as is living through the aftermath of a catastrophic bushfire disaster.sifting - these 10 poems cover a longer time span and are, in essence, reflections of a white, working class female growing up in southeast inland Australia and engaging with other places in the world. Some of the sub themes here contemplate inequality, war, travel, love and death. coast - here 15 poems reflect life on the fringe of southern Australia's coast. Included are longer prose poem narratives of moving between the east and west coasts. A sense of immersion exists in this group of poems, not just in the ocean, but in coastal environments across disparate Australian regions. Environmental and social concerns are engaged with in coast as well.
