Boken består av åtta olika delar som alla på olika sätt gestaltar skeenden som utgår från papperets ontologi eller vara. Här kan man se visuella vackra excesser i den inledande fotografiska serien möta dokumentationen av partituret On Paper – där det akustiska av just papper gestaltas. Här kan man i en del av boken se performanceverk från Paris floder avlösas av ett dissekerande av Sartres Varat och Intet i en annan del. Det experimenteras också med olika papperskvaliteter där utvik och statements bäddas in i försätts och eftersättsbladet. - - - - - - I delen "Allt papper i min studio" är språket reducerat och utelämnat till det visuella, det vi ser eller kan förnimma bortom det kognitiva. Det finns ofta hinder i språket eller bilden som blir existentiellt oöverstigliga, men som i vardagen på ett fysiskt plan nästan alltid måste överkommas och forceras till varje pris. Eller som Stigmark skriver i boken: - - - - - - ”De sidor, pappershörn, blad, kanter, hörn, flikar, bitar, fragment, skuggor, reflektioner, avrivna, lösa, slängda, bortglömda, sparade, arkiverade, ostädade, ordnade, organiserade, undanstoppade fragment från papper synade i ljus och mörker i min studio som inte slängdes och kan ses med blotta ögat.” Boken innehåller textbidrag författade unikt för denna utgåva och med de Åtta Pappershändelserna som utgångspunkt. Emma Kihl återger poetiskt papprets vara likt en behållare för det ordnade eller bortglömda. Jesper Olsson förtätar litterära och mediahistoriska (pappers)figurer. Och i dikten Pappersrollen gestaltas jaget och detet som papper/pappor av Ulf Karl Olov Nilsson (UKON).
