Pirmin Emanuel Schreiner vergleicht das Wohnraummietrecht in Deutschland, England und Frankreich per Computersimulation einer Modellstadt. Er schließt damit methodisch an den neueren Diskurs zur sog. "quantitativen Rechtsvergleichung" an. Im ersten Teil erörtert er deren Nutzen für die Rechtsvereinheitlichung, Rechtsarbitrage sowie die ökonometrische Weiternutzung zur policy-Analyse und Rechtsfolgenforschung sowie ihre methodischen Grundlagen besonders im Hinblick auf das Problem der Gewichtung unterschiedlicher Parameter. Im zweiten Teil werden diese methodischen Erkenntnisse zunächst durch einen klassisch-funktionalen Vergleich des Anwendungsbereichs des Wohnraummietrechts, der Mietzinsregulierung (insbesondere auch der sog. "Mietpreisbremsen") und des Kündigungsschutzes einschließlich Räumungsverfahren in den drei genannten Rechtsordnungen angewandt.
